  1. About 3 weeks ago I took my Defender to the garage with a cold engine starting issue, suspected glow plugs, it’s the 2.2 ford engine one, the mechanic snapped one off in the engine and it’s a specialist job to get it out, 3 weeks later still waiting for this guy to come to the garage and hopefully get the glow plug out, I was hoping the job would be done by now as I need the landrover back for my work, has anyone had the same problem, did they manage to get the plug out and not remove the head, and what was the cost for this as the garage can’t give me a price yet. Thanks.
  2. I use air arms in mine, never had a problem
  3. Had a complete Electric black out with my Range Rover this week, turned out to be the Alternator, killed the battery as well.
  4. Bit over the top this one , have we really got to the stage where asking where you have come from is a resign and media frenzy.
  5. Called the garage this morning and they are going to change it and issue a new mot with correct mileage, I think it’s an easy mistake to make when the tester is doing so many Mots, but it’s worth checking your certificate for this when you get it, I only noticed mine because it was thousands out.
  6. Some steering joints, headlights adjustment, clock out on the dash to replace a bulb that JLR don’t do any more and the cost of the test.
  7. So I put my Landrover in for it’s MOT and £300 odd pound later I collect it with new MOT , the next day I am putting the paperwork in its file when I notice the current mileage the tester has put on the certificate is about 8000 miles to many, I have sent a pic of the clock showing the correct mileage and asking them what I need to do about it, i have had no reply today and will call tomorrow but is this going to be a headache to get sorted. Thanks.
  8. I am with Flux as well, I have my classics with them and my Range Rover daily driver, they are not always the cheapest but I have found them easy to get hold of when you need to, and I understand them.
  9. I have herd of people doing this but does it not cause a problem when it’s MOT time.
  10. On my DMax they even put a second mark on the dip stick, if the oil reached that it was time to change the oil as the diesel in it had got to much, a complete pain and expensive. At the dealers I used to use they had an Engine on the floor one day that had blown due to runaway.
  11. I am fed up with DPF problems , my last pick up was an Isuzu D max and that was a nice truck ruined by it, I make a lot of short trips and that truck would need to re gen every week sometimes twice, the oil level would go up at a dangerous rate very quickly needing a lot of oil changes.
  12. What would be the newest pickup that did not have a DPF on it, I know cars had to have them from a certain year on but I thought commercials were a bit later. Thanks.
  13. seems like the Green Party are in, let’s hope the wind blows so we all have some energy.
  14. Council’s come up with these laws for landlord’s only to end up putting people who are in a position to do buy to let right off the idea, the biggest problem is that the council’s have no property’s for people to live in so it’s a negative situation all round.
  15. Well got the new gun, Miroku mk11 , fits me perfectly and I have quarter and half choke in, other than some practice swings I have not had a chance yet on some clays, hopefully next week if I can skip some work. With out doubt the prettiest Gun I will ever miss with.
  16. Back in the day we just had a cold, runny nose , then blocked nose, after a few days we were back to normal, now it’s a virus that just wants to kill you and can take weeks to be back to your self.
  17. Thank you for that, I am getting a new gun this week, going back to basics if you like, no multi adjustment on the gun, just a gun that fits nice. I have spent to much time fiddling with the adjustments and chokes.
  18. Ok thanks, is improved modified a tighter choke or less choke Thanks chris
  19. What is the equivalent to old school half choke , is it modified Thanks chris
  20. Same here, I know they need to get the job done , on our country lanes one of these tractors will just about go down them, they drive faster than you would in your car.
  21. No I have given up on it, I see a few people have posted about it on there page but no reply back from them.
  22. What a terrible service from this magazine, there App Airgunworld has stoped working and nobody reply’s to your Emails, I see on line other people have said about it but no reply to them as well, never buy an an online bundle from them because if the App goes down you get nothing.
  23. Not necessarily, he was getting a very big following, hundreds of thousands, he was bringing things to light that the media would not report on and our politicians shy away from. I wouldn’t be surprised if he does more than 2years 6 months.
  24. Sticks and stones may break my bones but words will get you five and half years
