  2. Damn! I live in Rossendale too. I’ve been after one of these for years. Gutted. Greg
  3. Yes I can do an RFD transfer. cheers Greg
  4. I have the same press. The shell holder isn’t for a 10 gauge, there’s a sleeve which a 12 gauge hull slips into and it is the rim of this sleeve which engages with the base of each station. The sleeve prevents the cartridge getting squashed when it’s crimped. It looks like it’s missing. Cheers Greg
  5. This gun is provisionally sold to Jamesy, subject to collection etc. Thanks everyone for all the interest in it. Cheers Greg

  10. Pigeons that is? we have a 2 day pigeon shoot in Scotland booked for next weekend but a phonecall to the chap who takes us out said there arn't any! i imagine the weather has a part to play  there are pea fields, corn, rapeseed everything they should be feeding on...but there are no pigeons think we are going to cancel but is there any chance it could turn rife with them in the next few days? Our local fields are the same come to think of it, nothing yet but this time last year they were in the thousands. oh i dunno!
  11. Calibre, price, location?? cheers Greg
  12. It wasnt my shot bud! as i said it was my friends (the guy on the left of me in the pic) he struggles a little to understand the relatively short range of a shotgun and will take such stupidly long shots i laugh, but be it luck or whatever he hits them! i let it fly straight over my head, way out of range, then..... bang!, clack clack, bang! it comes spiraling out of the sky! credit to the lad, shot of the day! Greg
  13. oh yes of course, i went completely off on that one! the answer is i dont know, i think a lot of the shoots we did on the second trip had been left for a year or two, so we didnt ask. that pigeon was genuine! it landed about 2 fields up wind! the gamekeeper was stunned, but given the gun it was mainly down to luck!
  14. Bump! over 5 million made and im struggling to find one!
  15. No mate all the woodcock are in the picture, 4 of them at the front, two of which are mine (very chuffed i was too B) ) i meant when there was too many pheasant to carry we dumped a few in feeders, so the gamekeeper could collect them later the pic doesnt show our full bag, as a few were 'dumped' along the way greg
  16. Hi Chaps, just thought id put up a couple of pics of our last shoot, well it was two seperate ones really but the same place which was StBoswells near Selkirk in Scotland. Both were really good days, i got my treasured Woodcock! two of them aswell! i think we got 50 odd between us each day, some were dumped in feeders along the way, i got a rabbit aswell but the dog ran off with it!! B) Im the lanky *** on the left Most of the days birds. Both my o/u's did me proud, Beretta and bettinsoli, got about 30 birds over the two days. My friend Russ (on my left) did really well with my Remmy 870 aswell, to the amazement of the gamekeeper, taking a pigeon at 80 yards! Greg
  17. as above wanted, either a gun or barrels. one with a rib and interchangeable chokes would be ideal, 28-30", just in addition to what i already have. a whole gun would also be fine, wingmaster, or the express magnum, anyone help or point me in the right direction much appreciated! cheers Greg
  18. Any tips on cooking them guys? iv got two of them, shot them in Scotland yesterday. my first ones two, i said i would walk away happy with one, so two's a bonous! all advice appreciated cheers Greg
