  5. i think what the trying to get at is if you have a more accurate pellet but less penetration its still going to hit the quarry with enough force to kill i.e if you hit a rabbit with the less penetrative pellet it will still crush the scull. your getting less penetration but your getting the add bonus of having that bit extra accuracy.
  6. I'm more of an ork ether way its no reason for ppl to take the **** DyslexiaFrom Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia. Dyslexia is a broad term defining a learning disability that impairs a person's fluency or comprehension accuracy in being able to read, and spell and which can manifest itself as a difficulty with phonological awareness, phonological decoding, orthographic coding, auditory short-term memory, and/or rapid naming. Dyslexia is separate and distinct from reading difficulties resulting from other causes, such as a non-neurological deficiency with vision or hearing, or from poor or inadequate reading instruction. It is believed that dyslexia can affect between 5 to 10 percent of a given population although there have been no studies to indicate an accurate percentage. There are three proposed cognitive subtypes of dyslexia: auditory, visual and attentional. Reading disabilities, or dyslexia, is the most common learning disability, although in research literature it's considered to be a receptive language-based learning disability. Accomplished adult dyslexics may be able to read with good comprehension, but they tend to read more slowly than non-dyslexics and may perform more poorly at nonsense word reading (a measure of phonological awareness) and spelling. Dyslexia is not an intellectual disability, since dyslexia and IQ are not interrelated as a result of cognition developing independently.
  7. for all the replys on this topic im going to try out a range of pellets to see witch one is best for my rifle and gives me the best accrasy. Andrew
  8. :lol:right so good quality hollow point that's accurate as hell will do the job better. could some one recommend a good accurate pellet. i am seeing the light in more accurate pellets to penetration i would rather hit the rabbit witch will still kill it than have a less accurate pellet with more penetration but less chance to actually hit it
  9. i got my rifle tested and its pushing 11 1/2ft lb i agree that you need the penetration with the accuracy
  10. its a cometa mod.300 its a nice rifle only problem with it is its a bit heavy and Duse my arms in but am getting used to it
  11. a find that the wasps are more accurate than the storms the storms have a really hard skirt a think that's the problem with them there are 2 types of wasps there's a purple tin witch i use and a blue the blue tin are a little bit bigger than the purple only problem with the purple ones is there quite lose in the rifle when i load it up i have to hold the rifle down or they come bk out i am getting a little bundle of ebay its 10 pots of diferant types of pellets for £10 you get 20pellits in each pot
  12. i bought some storm pellets and thought they were OK and the quality of the pellet looked good until my mate give me his wasps as he changed from a .22 to a .177 so i tried them out the quality of the pellet was not to bad when i fired them i did a penetration test and the wasps where a hell of a lot better the test. i put 6 empty milk cartons in a line and fired. the storm went thru 3 cartons i then fired a wasp and it when thru all 6 so i did a distant test from 50ft i zeroed in with the wasps as it was hitting higher than the storms at 20ft. the test.wasps at 50ft straight as a die the storms well they barely made the distance. has any one less used them before and what is a good pellet to yous .22caliber and what pellets should be avoided results storm pellets **** wasps much better and £3 cheaper
  13. a will get one and test it out and post bk on how mutch diferance it makes
