  1. Not sure where to post this, I have a large number of Vintage Paper Cartridges in mint Condition, various Bores, & loads, queation is, is there a market for them or should I just use them ?
  2. Nice one fella, see you in March (Y)
  3. Just cover mine in PVA glue & dust them with this stuff: http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/The-Army-Painter-Battlefields-Ash-Grey-Flock-/250917811849?pt=UK_Toys_Wargames_RL&hash=item3a6bddf689 Keeping the white bits clear
  4. To busy picking them up & getting everything packed away. suffice to say it was a good day
  5. Good day yesterday, stopped counting at 250 over Beans - 12786
  6. Was happy with 42, but thought I could have done a wee bit better, we were only calling the first bird & shooting the second on report BTW, I though that was how everybody does it??
  7. Top shoot today Alan, thanks for your efforts, here's to the next one (Y)
  8. On a more positive note, called in to Thetford guns last week to find a cartridge that my Remmy 1100 likes & the owner spent a good 45 minutes sorting me out, the cartridges worked a treat & his prices are very reasonable. So you want positives, well I'm positive I'll not be parting with any more of my hard earned in Dereham http://www.thetfordguns.co.uk/
  9. Say again - this time in some sort of legible English please
  10. Update: Went over to Phillip's last week, after spending 45 minutes with us, my lad now has a new over / under, lovely mint condition Baikel for £165.00. Whilst I was there I asked him for a price on my replacement Remmington woodwork & guess what £50 for a pair ! Churchills, you have finally**** your pot full as far as we are concerned.
  11. Over the years I've spent a few quid in Churchills but after today's performance, never again. A couple of weeks ago I was passing through & asked about a some replacement woodwork for my Remmington, the young lad said that they have a few knocking about from broken guns & he'd have a look round. Long story short, I'm back in today & sure enough he rocks up with said timber, a bit chipped & dented, no butt plate, but with a bit of time could be made to look good again. How much do you think that Bell end Steve wanted to charge me? £50 - 60? not a hope ......................£200! I told him he was taking the ****, I paid less than that for the gun, greedy ********, well my lad's in the market for a new gun, so it's off to see Phillip Webster.
  12. Was getting plenty of sport up to dusk, but the last couple of outings the birds have dried up, going for a first light start in the morning over some struggling rape
