  10. this is just a off cut, these beams were over 80 foot, I wouldn't want to fall from a tree that high, im not sure what you'd call a big tree lol I'm more than happy to entertain those who clearly don't have the ability to occupie their own minds long enough to feel the need to comment, it saves some other poor sod falling victim to their nonsense, probably give their wives a rest from it all too 😂
  11. Clearly you know nothing. Absolutely every word you've said on this post as already be discredited by the fact I've had offers for everything you said isn't worthy, by professionals in the field of lumber, please stick to pigeon shooting topics 😁 The offer was nowhere near the price, hence it being here. It is however a fall back option. He obviously has the machinery to deal with it and being in the trade will want a profit himself
  12. A local timber yard have already offered to buy it with the intentions of planking it, hence where the idea cane from..!!
  13. No creosote, nails or scews
  14. 3.6m in length, 13.5" square. American Red Wood, believed to be Douglas Fir. This is part of one of four main stansion that formed part the main structure holding up railway bridge 166 on the up and down barnsley main line between Wombwell Station and Barnsley Station which stood for over 100 years Its a substantial piece and would look great planked or plained and used as is. Due to the size and weight suitable transport will be required, and ideally a winch. Failing that its going to be a six man struggle No idea regarding price, so ill start high and discuss offers via pm, £499 collected from Barnsley South Yorkshire
  15. Wish these were 26mm, good luck with the sale
  16. Basically yeah. That particular jacket in the link I believe is the mk2 version. The only difference I can see is the rubber tabs on the velcro cuffs, otherwise it's more or less the same. Two small hand warmer pockets, two lower pockets, detachable hood, completely packable into it's own inside pocket
  17. Good used condition. Size small in Olive green, complete with detatable hood. Great little lightweight jacket, packable into it's own inside pocket. Freshly washed and reproofed in nikwax tech wash and nikwax direct wash in £60 posted
  18. Good used condition, great bit of well built kit, very handy in the field. Only fault would be a split in the rubber rest, does not effect use £100 collected from Barnsley
  19. x5 18" hurricane alloy wheels to fit a land rover discovery 2, no tyres. Used condition, £90 collected from Barnsley
  20. Evening all. I'm going to be selling my hilux so I thought I'd post it here first. It's a 2002 52 2.5td d4d vx model, double cab with 120k on the clock. I've owned it for almost a year, bought with the intention to replace my disco, but never got around to selling that and to be honest, the disco is my go to vehicle so this has to go for something more economical for running around in. It was bought from a friend who owned it for 9 years. During his ownership he maintained it to a high standard only using genuine parts fitting most of them himself being a AA mechanic and taking it back to the dealer for work he wasn't able to do on the driveway. He used mostly for carting his pigeon shooting equipment about and I've used it mostly for work so it's done no heavy off roading, access and stubble only and hasn't been used for towing in the last ten years. As I've already mentioned its mechanically sound, passed the MOT today with no advisorys and comes with part history and lots of paperwork. Timing belts been done and it has two new Bfg Ko2 AT tyres on the rear, and two older bfg ats on the front. It as a ARB rear canopy, and all the seats are like new. The carpet could do with a good clean but its typical for this type of vehicle. BAD POINTS The truck shows signs of use over the fields, plenty of light scratches etc Only one lock on the rear canopy works, very easy fix From cold theres a slight clutch judder, this lasts 5-10 minutes until warm and has been like this for the past ten years, very common according to the members on the hilux owners page The front NS arch is scuffed, I hit a skip, £36 delivered off ebay for a replacement And the biggy is one of the outer sills needs a patch welding. I've got it booked in for this but not for three weeks. If anybody wants the truck now it's going to be £2800 not a penny less, or I'll do the welding, paint and arch which will add £400 to the price Anyone interested please pm email address and I'll do some photos tomorrow, collection is Barnsley South Yorkshire
  21. 100 once fired hornady brass £28 posted loose 2nd class
