    incubators

Due to shoot closure i have for sale 2 large Maino incubators, They are approx 10 years old and always run with no problems. they were not used last year so have been in storage for approx 19 months. I have had them out and run at temp for the last 2 weeks. both are holding temp and seem to be working fine. One has a digital temp display and auto temp control. the other is manual temp control without digital display. They both have auto egg turning trays and can also be used as hatchers. They are NOT auto humidity. Each incubator will hold approx; 820 Duck eggs, 1071 Pheasant, 2002 Partridge or 441 Goose Each incubator will take 7 trays and they come with 11 mallard/pheasant trays, 1 Lg Duck/chicken tray, 1 Partridge tray, 1 Goose tray and 8 Hatching trays. I am looking for £1600 for both including all trays
  9. +1 for Winston Churchill, started my stalking career there 18 years ago fantastic ground in stunning scenery. Have heard great things from friends who have stalked with Colin (solway stalker) as well.
  10. Sorry to hear this mate, I have been there myself my ex left me after 10 years about 18 months ago. Lost my head completely didn't know how I would cope or what reason I had to carry on. Spent weeks just walking every night all night just to keep out the house couldn't eat or sleep. Found the best thing for me was to keep busy started helping on my friends shoot every evening after work. Took time out of work mid -week to go beating which helped break up the days. Being around good friends was the best thing for me. ( makes you realise how good they are) Slowly I came round now 6 months into a new realationship with a woman who has a lot more in common with me than the ex ever did. Honestly I am far happier now, than I ever have been in the last 10 years but 18 months ago I thought my world had ended. Keep busy, find a friend to listen and be honest and tell him everything it helps, Keep positive and who knows where you will be in 18 months.
  11. Roe?? They don't grow that big on my patch beautiful picture though. Have been trying to get some of the stag rut myself.

  18. 11 years for me wouldn't think it by my post count though.
  19. I have always used Heart of England farms for my mallard and never had any problems
  20. 05 February 03 just into my 11th year now. But as you can see by my post ,like to sit back and view everyone else.
  21. I took mine with a good man called Ian Ballard who sadly in know longer with us. Where abouts in the country are you as there are plenty of other establishments who run the DSC1 course. Jelen , Greenlee and Donnington deer to name a few. Have a look on The Stalking Directory.
  22. Personally I find nothing disturbing at all about this, I was granted my FAC when I was 14 and past my DSC1 less than a month later ( with highest marks on the day ) Had my open ticket issued when I was 16 and also put my own stalking syndicate together the same year. At 14 I had my own .223 and .22lr which my father bought and then gave to me he also had to supply my ammo. I used to push bike after school with either one of them to a local farm where I used to release 25 pheasants and also manage the wild greys. So as Son Of A Gun says he is wanting to start a small rough shoot, as long as the ground is passed by the chief of police to a calibre of say .243 and he has it down on his FAC for fox and deer there is no problem him using it on this ground he also has the option of buying days on estates for deer which are also passed to his calibre. I also praise him for already looking at furthering his knowledge and understanding of this sport with doing the DSC1 .223
  23. I use Hardwear 4mm neoprene waist waders with a good pair wool socks works for me.
  24. I use my benneli SBE2 on the shore or flighting geese but much prefer my silver pigeon which I use for everything else if just after duck on the shore and little chance of geese I will take the silver pigeon. Think my next will be a 3-1/2 inch o/u
