  10. Hi Rhysmac I have two of these nightmaster 800's. I had it for a couple of months now and find it a great bit of kit would not be without it. I did purchase the full kit + a red cree led the white light you can adjust the power on, however the red is non adjustable. I use this to great effect for rabbit shooting and for foxing the rabbits really take no notice of it and it clearly lights them up far further than I care to shoot them at night. The foxes in my area are a little more wised up to the lamp but it still clearly picks them out to 400>500m. I find it very light and easily fitted to the scope it gives a brilliant beam that is adjustable. I find that one battery will last about 3 hours of use. I have since purchased the extension tube and the rat tail switch for it, and also another nightmaster 800 IR as a dedicated illuminator for the NV as it is truly amazing very clear picture through the NV. This is not the cheapest piece of kit but you get what you pay for the kit is well made and has a good warranty and customer service is second to none.
