  1. .Been a long time since I did any plumbing. Changing bathroom sink and was wondering what to use to bed new plug / waste fitting in new sink. Think I used boss white last time but can't remember or is sanitary grade silicon ok? Cheers Mark
  2. Had same with Swinton a couple of years ago, policy increased by over 30%. So went on comparison site and Swinton was cheapest, took this policy and was asked for a copy of my no claims. Phoned them to tell them they already had a copy but they were insistent and had to request a copy and email a copy to them. Currently with Admiral but expecting same this year.

You can take the 25% tax tree and leave the rest invested.

Yes, took mine last week. Paid my car loan off. Won't touch rest due to tax
  5. Curry's are competitive. Nice to get the 5 year warranty from Lewis's but you pay for it. Most TV's should last at least 5 years I have a 60" Samsung Plasma on the wall in not such a large room, but doesn't look out of place being on the wall. Picture is excellent with plasma, but sound not so good so I have an AV amp and 5.1 speakers. Also have LG and Panasonic in different rooms both 42" and both good pics. Not much in them now days.
  6. Yvette Cooper. says it all, what a typical left wing rich and privileged politician. Any one who votes for this shower of garbage will regret it if they end up trying to run the UK. Very frightening times ahead.
  7. Good idea, never thought of that.
  8. Last year there was a wasps' nest in the eaves of my house. Eventually all activity stopped, does this mean the nest is now empty and I can remove it? Or will there be any grubs growing in it? Just want to know if it is safe to move it. Thanks in advance, Mark
  9. Open one on line, First direct probably a good bet and most will pay you a few quid to switch.
  10. I voted for Tony Blair a few years ago. Liked the guy and still do. All this **** in the press about war crimes, don't haven't an opinion. Gordon Brown was a different story, nearly destroyed this country, oh no it was the banker's? Who cares, let's look at the future. I don't care if you are left wing, right wing or centre. There is only one party actually healing this country's problems and trying to reduce the deficit, even before thinking about reducing the country's debt and that's the Tory's whether you love them or hate them. UKIP have an opinion mostly based on immigration, no policy's on the economy or any thing else to be honest, so we have a choice, Milliprat and Balls and possibly a coalition with SNP who will do their best to destroy GB and force a Scottish independence, we all know this would be a disaster for all. or vote Tory and see this country back on it's feet. What ever your politics, we live in a democratic society based on a country based on wealth creators, eg Sugar, Branson, Green etc and many more creating jobs for the general public. Doesn't matter whether you like or hate them or even envy them, this is what this country is.
  11. No. waste of a vote, only 2 parties in this election. Do we really want a Labour / SNP coalition? We will end like Greece. Conservatives are the only party offering a stable GB and I am a working class Labour supporter usually. Living in Sheffield, I can still remember the Thatcher years but get over it and see the light at the end of the tunnel

    Milliband

Why do I want to punch Milliband and Balls every time I see them on TV? I am not a violent person but both these odious creeps make me want to put my foot through the telly. Alex Salmond has the same affect. Not had this much anger since Thatcher was PM.
  13. Penny off a pint, my 2 local pubs have just put prices up by 5p and 6p per pint.
