  2. One of my ponds, in clay, was losing water until I put some more bream in it, as was recommended by someone, and the water level now stays about 1 foot higher in Summer. Still a foot or so lower than it gets to in Winter.
  3. 3,462 is the figure being admitted so far, with several councils yet to report back to the Electoral Commission.
  4. Get a FAC if you can, but I suspect that a lot of people are owning air weapons because they would not be permitted to own anything else, at the moment.
  5. Has the rifle been stored muzzle up with the moderator attached?

No problem, here to help, if possible.
  12. Most will just disappear under the bed, like 375,000 long-magazine shotguns did according to estimates.
  13. It was reported yesterday that the Turkish leader has advised his people not to practice contraception so that people of his religion can become a majority. In a recently reported survey, 12M Turks want to come to the UK. Like Gadaffi said, "We don't need to attack you. We will send 1M men who will each have 6 wives, and each wife will have 6 children." And our benefit system will fund it!
  14. Lots of choices, some published by bullet makers(eg Nosler), some published by powder makers(usually downloadable recipes), some published by equipment makers(eg Lee).

Just like the tickets that you have to have on building sites to be insured, insurance companies might insist that a trailer complies with regulations to be covered. If you build the trailer to comply with the regulations, that is what I first said was necessary, but without the evidence to show plod, you might get delayed a long time on your journey. A plated trailer would be the best proof.

I suggest you drive through a ministry checkpoint or become involved in an accident whilst towing, to find out. The original post was about buying a punt on a trailer, so I suppose someone would have to be selling one.

There is a page on trailers up to 750kg http://www.dft.gov.uk/vca/additional/files/vehicle-type-approval/trailers/trailer-seminar.pdf
  19. Would probably sell quickly down here at that price.
  20. I went to a funeral in Taunton yesterday and was speaking to someone afterwards who said her son employs two EU migrants that have been here for 3 years and have been given polling cards enabling them to vote in the EU Referendum. I thought that such people were only allowed to vote in local elections.
  21. I spoke to someone today who works for a vet, and asked her if she had heard of Yumove. She said they sell it at the practice and the rep had called today. It's the only thing of that type that has a money-back guarantee. There is something else that is only available on prescription but I can't remember what it was, I think it was an extract from something beginning with 'B'.
  22. I've been told that there are some liver kennels that don't have such cancer problems, but I don't think I'll have another dog, it might outlive me. I've no-one to leave a dog with now if I have to go anywhere, flatcoats are noisy if left alone and GLPs could be even worse, so I've read.
