A surprising change in ownership for Shooting Times and Sporting Gun both titles seemingly purchased by Edinburgh based Fieldsports Press. Recently this firm also bought Trout and Salmon considered by many game fishermen to be the leading magazine in fly fishing . Blackpowder

As stated hand benders only take 15 and 22 mm pipe. A proper bending machine will take larger but S/S is hard and difficult to pull manually even on a machine. Blackpowder

Your rails need to be the same external diameter as standard pipe sizes for a maching to work. Blackpowder

It may even belong to the Percy family at the moment, not sure. -
Just read on Facebook that the odious Brian May has been looking at the Rothbury and Coquetdale Estate in nor Northumberland with the intention of buying. Not good news for anyone employed in the shooting or farming industries on that land. Blackpowder

After I retired from self employment I only seemed to be getting nuisance calls on the landline so dumped it about 3 years ago. There was some trouble keeping my internet connection but all well once that was sorted. Strange thing is in our local directory I am still listed under a new number wqich when I tried ringing brought no answer or result. Does anyone know if it is possible to have your mobile number listed in BT directory? Blackpowder -

I am right handed preferring to wind with the left hand and keep the stronger right arm to control the fish. It's not difficult to learn to wind with either hand just keep trying until it becoms a natural reaction. Blackpowder

Had a blue light myself on 1st April to BGH combination of Covid over leaky heart valve. Change of medication and a 6 day stay so all sorted for the moment. No complaints about NHS service and the food as both agreeable and adequate.. Blackpowder

It was to be tried in Scotland but retail outlets dont seem on the idea. When we had local brewers and soft drink manufacturers the empties, cash refund to donors, went back to be reused in the same crates which the full bottles arrived. Blackpowder

Talk about **** law as at mid night on the 31st ended up in hospital for a 6 night stay. Thank goodness a relative who knows about phones arrived with a temporary sim card installed in my hand set, plus charger , plus earphones and radio instructions. It was only on the 17th that a replacement sim arrived, my friend installed but received a 'not valid' notice. Down to phone calls and the firm were easily contacted where I was told that the card had not yet been authorised but would be soon. At last 21 days on I had the sim installed , kept my existing number so happy with that but still feel as if I had been conned by CVC's dubious selling methods. Blackpowder
