  1. Hi, Anyone installed one of these in a disco? It comes with lots of different brackets and fixings but no instructions or obvious securing points. Can only assume that some of the securing screws along the side need to be removed, but reluctant to mess with it. Has anyone on this forum have any experience with it? Cheers Dave
  2. Horsford Rifle & Pistol Club, 20 mins from the centre of Norwich. Shoot 3 Sundays a month, 1st Sunday is clay shoot, 3rd is half clay shoot & half rifle, 3rd Sunday is full bore rifle. Also 3rd Saturday is full bore rifle. 100 yd range. Plenty of opportunity to try different guns, gain experience and get free instruction. Guest day is 3rd Sunday of each month, PM me if you're interested and I'll gladly sign you in and provide a range of guns for you to try out.....
  3. Can't fault Winchester subs 40gr, they're the only thing I will use in my CZ. Doing some experimenting I hit a sub 0.5in group at 50yds. The scope is sighted in at 75yds and have knocked out bunnies at 110yds using mil dot. At that range the head expanded out to .30cal making the bunny summersault a few feet off the ground.
  4. Large roof rack to fit pajero/shogun or any vehicle with rain gutters. Measures 162cm x 117cm. Came off LWB Pajero. Ready to fit with brackets and bolts. £125.00 PM for additional details.....
  5. Agree with your comment about 'the important thing is we're all insured', but it would be nice to have the choice of which organisation to go with. Two wildfowling clubs I've joined make BASC membership compulsory.
  6. Yes I believe you are right, they only issue something like 15% of season permits to peope outside of East Lothian.... however I have one . Applied for it last January, recieved confirmation of my application in Feb and came through the door Saturday morning!!
  7. Hi, Has anyone ever had a flight at John Muir Country park? Just picked up a fowling permit for the 2012/13 season and starting to plan a couple of trips this side of Christmas and a few in Jan. Would appreciate a few words of wisdom from anyone that been shot there before, such as a good camp site etc..
  8. Sunday is best, seeing how this is mid game season....
  9. That's a really good looking dog you have there.....
  10. Hi Matt, Welcome... where about's are you from???
  11. Welcome to PW Pete..... Go for the Mossberg, they're cheap and extremely reliable. Cheers Dave
  12. Hi Welcome to PW. I wouildn't get a Hatsan unless you have no choice. I bought one new a couple of years ago and only used it for one season (3 1/2 semi). Had a struggle to get the barrel off after every shoot day, the gas parts became so hot they expanded and jammed up and the carbon build up after 50 carts was rediculous. Got next to nothing for it in part exchange (which says a lot), but for a few hundred quid more picked up a real gem. If you're budget will only stretch to a Hatsan, buy something second hand for the same price and save yourself some grief. Cheers
  13. I wouldn't attempt to use normal (nitro) 9mm rimfire in a gun designed for black power at all. If it's a good looking antique and you want to put it on ticket to use, send it to the proof house for testing.
  14. The 9mm garden gun is usually a rimfire so don't think 9mm parabellum work.... Even if it wasn't dangerous to attempt!
  15. Adders are very common here in Norfolk, see them sunbathing out in the open all the time. Just have to keep an eye on the dog to make sure they she doesn't go for them.
