I have a howa 1500 .223 stealth kit, it comes with a sonic 45 moderator. There were no fitting instructions but it looked fairly straight forward, it isn't the type of moderator that screws directly on to the barrel. It came with 2 plastic round fittings, one screwed into the barrel the other into the moderator reducing the diameter of the hole that goes onto the barrel.I tested it today and the moderator blew off when I took a shot, I assumed it was because it wasn't on tight enough. So I tightened it further and took another shot. It blew off again and the gases expelled blew back into my face. On inspecting the moderator the bullet seems to have clipped the end of the moderator on the way out. Now the big plastic part is stuck in the thread of the moderator and the smaller one is inside. Does anyone have the setup? What have I done wrong (if anything)?

Hello all. I am interested in starting this sport but am struggling to find anywhere that does this near me. I am in Wiltshire. Does anyone know of anywhere in myself area that I can do this?

I haven't bothered cleaning the barrels of any of my rimfires, they shoot spot on, if that were to change I would give it a clean.

So I will be getting this when the order comes in within a few weeks. I was wondering when zeroing should I clean the barrel between shots? On my rimmies I didn't bother but have read in a few places people tend to do this. Also is it worth bedding the barrel in by simply shooting 50 or so rounds through it? if so can anyone recommend some cheap ammo to do this. Thanks in advance

So here's the situation: I have 2 kids (3 & 1), my wife cheated on me in our rented house (caught em at it). I was going to stay there until tomorrow but I left last night as she was on the phone to him and I couldn't stand being there. I am handing the notice in on the house tomorrow as well. She works PT and hasn't enough money to rent on her own so will be going down the social housing route. So here's the thing, she wants the key to the house which is in my name ( I'm the lease holder) as she says it's hers now as we have split up. I know she's gonna have this other guy round and I can't stomach the fact I am paying for the house she's in and facilitating her doing that. Where do I stand legally? If I kick her out (I would do if there were no kids) then the kids would go with her..... Help

They had no .223 there only fmj, the guy said you don't want these unless you put them through the back of a Muslims head. I left after that.
