  1. change in bore size may well be wear between proofing not alterations. Looks nice but i would keep my cash for something else
  2. Looking at the last few comments the old farts continue to drag up the past instead of adapting and getting on with life.
  3. Sadly this thread has been dominated by a few negative, BASC bashing old farts who just repeatadly pick fault. High time they either grew up or shut up or were barred from posting.
  4. The Barbour Dunmoor Fleece Jacket features a cosy outer trimmed with suede-effect shoulder patches and a pure-cotton lining in the iconic Classic Tartan. Handwarmer pockets and quilted patch pockets combine with an inner wallet pocket for added practicality, and a two-way zip makes it easy to access midlayers without needing to fully unzip the jacket. As new, worn 3 times but doesn't fit me properly as am in between sizes.£120 local collection possible or post at cost. Will attach pictures later
  5. you do need an SGC to purchase or written authority from the SGC holder and the SGC. Nothing needed to possess

Great shop and a look in the cartridge store is a treat if you can wangle it!
  7. There are one or two folk on this thread who are more than boring and repetitive and should be blocked.
  8. There used to be some sensible reasoned debates on this forum. This thread dealing with the most important change to shooting seems to have descended into another BACS bashing exercise and going back into ancient history gripes which are no longer relevant. Wake up and evolve, change etc. You may not like them but they are our biggest and most influential representative body on this topic. Where are the NRA, NSRA, CPSA etc with constructive input? We need to adapt and move on or become dinosaurs like some of the contributors to this thread. Why should small bores, muzzle loaders etc be exempt? Bismuth or other alternative may cost a bit more but surely better to spend a bit more than give up?
  9. More left wing socialist dross. Why any one with half a brain would vote for Labour is beyond me,
  10. Of course it could just be a sales ploy to get us to buy longer and more costly cartridges!
  11. Gave up using waders a couple of seasons ago and find life much easier - just wear wellies and german army goretex trousers and I dont need to wade where I shoot. Much easier walking and if need to keep out of mud a bin liner is sat on
  12. Be much better going for an Aya no2 in 16- far better built than most of the competition
  13. muzzle down in full fat coke, loosened my maxus stock chokes
  14. Why don't folk move with the times and accept change is coming and get on with it? They have used steel shot on the continent for years for clays and game without too many issues. If we want the sport to survive then maybe we have to move on and evolve? The three Wigeon and a Pintail I got on the shore on Friday were shot at a sporting range with steel 4s through my 690-3 and stone dead.
  15. I had a nice Musto and washed and tumble dried it - big mistake - now only suitable for one of Snow Whites little pals!
  16. Am looking for a warm, wind proof and lightweight jumper. Any recommendations. TIA
  17. Muzzle down in full fat coca cola - worked on my maxus a treat!
  18. Saw the letter, folk spending that much have more money than sense and its big expensive days that will be the ruin of the sport if its not done so already.
  19. Gamebore do lots of steel loads for the continent we cant get here due to our outdated CIP regs.
  20. 100 30g no5 shot Gamebore/Kent ITM for sale in 20 bore. Collection or local delivery only to certificate holders. £125 ono
  21. We have the lowest state pensions in Europe and those who have worked and paid in all their lives deserve a decent pension. Look after our own first but we don't - instead we waste billions on pointless overseas aid and god knows how much on alleged refugees and asylum seekers.
