If i was paying x amount membership a month then i think that i would be justified to complain, however, since we may naff all for the privilege and many people put a lot of effort and their time into running and 'mod' ing the site for free, then who am i to complain. keep up the good work admin team and run the site as you see fit..

Staggering ignorance and bigotry
englishman-in-wales replied to VikingRebel's topic in General Shooting Matters
I've tried to stay away from it to be honest, but reading some of the posts has made my blood boil, so i've added my two penny's worth and i'm either going to get banned or bombarded with abuse...either way, i dont really give a ****...they sound like most of them are inbred anyway... -

I just had a look at it...why not go the whole hog and ban cars, they kill people and wildlife and pollute the atmospere, if you need to cut ya veggies for dinner you have to go to a registered restaurant so you can have the use of a knife, oh and while we are at it, basball bats, golf clubs and whole plethora of items should be banned. Complete load of ****!! -
I've got bolt and self loading for which i specifically asked for, my brother however, same force, has just got 3 .22's specified so can have either.

Depending on where you are located in S Wales, Bridgend College (Pencoed) offer PA1/6 which is a 3 day course with 2 assesments at £360, and it would be me training you. However, over the last 2 years especially, all the back to work schemes have seen endless people provided with free training, so the market has become flooded with people with PA 1/2/6 and chainsaw tickets with no work to use them. And to be honest i dont think that many farmers would pay for the service, many farmers are either dairy (as we all know, operating with very very tight or no margins) or sheep farmers, again operating with tight margins. Most farmers are quite content to for knotweed to be present in margins / hedges etc and encroachment into fields is naurally kept in check by livestock as sheep / cattle / horse and goats etc will quite happily graze on young shoots Sorry to be negative dude, the link below is a very good guide on knotweed however. All the best. My link

Yeah the council are really going to put a notice up on every single pavement in london..as mentioned, read rule 244 "You MUST NOT park partially or wholly on the pavement in London, and should not do so elsewhere unless signs permit it. Parking on the pavement can obstruct and seriously inconvenience pedestrians, people in wheelchairs or with visual impairments and people with prams or pushchairs"

Is that not the whole point of been in business to turn a profit, how he chooses to spend that 'profit' is down to him i would have thought. -
f a c and shotgun interview friday
englishman-in-wales replied to matty thud's topic in General Shooting Matters
I would expect a wait of 3 months min, some of the newbies at the club are waiting anywhere upto 5 months! I've never had any problems with any of the south wales firearms staff, they have always been efficient and given a good service, not sure which feo you are refering to? -
Report them here!

I have come to learn that no matter what car / 4x4 you get, every single motor has common faults, some more than others...my 57 L200 has never missed a beat, she has cost me a set of tyres and that is about it, yet my mates 08 L200 has had issues on a weekly basis it seems and has cost him a fair bit recently...

They are already doing Lincolnshires firearms licensing and have just signed contracts with Bedfordshire, Cambridgeshire and Hertfordshire...

englishman-in-wales replied to kiffy's topic in Welcome to Pigeon Watch
Hello and Welcome Some of the new boys at the club are waiting 5 months for their FAC, the ones that already have a SGC are waiting around 3 months, SWP are generally a good bunch, personally, i have never had any problems and have always received good service, no doubt someone will be along to dispute that... All the best Rich. -
A lovely sewin there buddy...well done

That's why people post pictures of what they have shot!!....nice one fella, a day to be remembered...
-
That always astonishes me, they make the effort to actually clean up after their dog, and then just fling the bag into a bush or over a hedge etc...

Yeah, apologies, it should have said sheet, it's just a tick sheet asking if you want an am / pm appointment, and any dates that you are away on holiday for example, they seem to be pretty keen on it as it says ' this must be attached to the application' but yes, the forms are national and can be downloaded from basc for example.
