  1. My gunsmith and I'm proud to say a good friend to both me and my father. Iv spent many an hour spent in his shop with a coffee chewing the cud over all sorts of different things and watching him work at his bench making obsolete parts for old guns. Bob was an extremely talented gun smith, hes taken care of all of mine and my Dads shotguns and rifles for the past 20 years or so. He also built my 257 Robert's which he did an amazing job of and has made several for my Dad. Such a sad day for all of us that had the pleasure of knowing and befriending him. Our thoughts are with Jan and his family. RIP Bob.
  2. Afternoon all, whilst on face book the other day I stumbled across a chap who is making some really good quality reloading trays. There better value for money than the red plastic one's so many of us have got. The chaps name is Clinton and his web address is https://designervapestands.com The trays are on pages 4 and 5 in his on line shop, for those 2 I paid less than £30 and each one holds 100.
  3. Iv tried 120 gr but there no good as My twist rate is 1 in 10. Iv got some grand slams and Partitions for sale if your interested scumbag. Both 120gr.
  4. Some time ago I did some trial loads from my bob using 100gr game kings, Will try and find my info out for you. Without any real effort I got thumb nail sized group with a middle of the road charge of reloader 15. No sorry the powder was H4350, my mistake!
  5. I have 150 120gr Nosler Partitions and 337 120gr Speer Grand slams both in 25Cal, that are surplus to requirements. £20 per box for the Nosler and £15 per box for the Speer Grand Slam. The part used box of 37 Grand slam are £10. Collection in person and I will need to see your FAC that you have the correct variation due to them being expanding ammunition, and I will enter them on to you ticket. They are not loaded, they are just the bullets. Feel free to phone me on 07713242019. If I do not answer leave me a voice mail with your name and number and I will get back to you ASAP. They are located in Staffordshire.

  9. Hi all, thought I’d put some pics up of me new .257 Bob. She was made by my local gun/rifle smith. The action is L/H Tikka 695 originally off a .270, the barrel is a med weight 26' Lothar Walther, The Stock is a grade AA fancy from Richard's microfit stocks in the states, T8 silencer, and on top I have put a 3-18x50 Swarovski Z6i. Up to now I have only shot some 117gr Remington factory ammo which was rubbish, but had a success with some home loads which me old man helped me with, They comprise of 85gr Nosler ballistic silver tip bullet, 39grs of reloader 15 and federal match primers, managed to get hole on hole more or less.
