  1. Not at all. As fas as I am concerned that is I am not anti shooting lobby, I love my hobby and if any you are living near Hereford you are more than welcome to accompany me on shoot in Little birch farmer allow two people on his land at once (as long as you are member of BASC and use air rifle).
  2. Yes I notice power drops rapidly when I fire rapidly and cylinder gets cold. This decreases pressure in canister? Pistol good fun but not good for killing, too inaccurate and too underpowered! I'd starve if I needed to depend on it but as I like pistol I buy it
  3. I eat most things I shoot because I earn not much money and it is a great way to supply my freezer with tasty things! I tried the Rooks today and there was not enough meat on only two of them but hopefully I can exterminate more next time I go killing
  4. Thanks Hammergun, no way of making power 6ftlbs then? I was thinking maybe stronger spring?
  5. That good advice. When I was at home my father made me practice marksmanship very carefully until I could consistently group my shots in tight group at 60 to 100 yards. Back home I use .22 rimfire gun but here I find I need firearms certificate so I buy air rifle but nevertheless although I only work at ranges up to 30 yds now I still make sure I can fire good groups. It important to do this and know anatomy of your prey so you can get good clean kill and never take shot where you unsure of this.
  6. ? What have rooks to do with children?
  7. Fishing is something I must try. It may be a good idea because I have little money for food.
  8. I only get two Rooks, I have skinned them though and I eat them for dinner tomorrow
  9. Thank you Hammergun, I go now and let you know how they tastes! Thanks again for help and I didn't know you have recipe section too! You are the best! I so glad I find this forum.
  10. I buy one of these today from my friend it use the gas canister fit into pistol grip it 177 caliber and good fun for knocking over tin cans but it doesn't seem to be much powerful. I would guess about 2-3 ftlbs. Is there any way to increase power to 6 ft lbs?
  11. Yes I paunch the bunnies when I out on the shoot, I always bury the guts, farmer not like the foxes and badgers. I am going out again today for few hours to try for some crows, field was ploughed and lots of crows and woodies, I have decoy crows and woodies and I will setting them out facing into the wind, is this best way to set them out? Looking forward to this as I make hide in hedge with couple of milk crates for seat and also scrim nettings to cover over camoflage so I not seen. Any recipes for pigeon pies? Also I like to try eating rooks, there are lots of rooks on my shoot, has anyone tried? and what is best way to cook them please?

I am getting interested in airgunning I buy a second hand Weobly Omega air rifle with pro system silencer and Optima Moonlighter 3-9X56 scope and Barnett light to mount on scope and I do well lamping in Hereford area now. I get 6 bunnies last night, I paunched them and they are hanging up in shed now, I look forward to eating they tomorrow. Does anybody like to talk to me here?
