My Trooper is up for sale so I'm just seeing if there's any interest from the forum. Long Wheel Base 5 door in green with a very sweet 3.5 V6 on 135,000 miles. Professional multipoint LPG conversion done in 2012 with a combined underslung petrol/LPG tank so no loss of boot space. Registered on the LPGA register for insurance purposes. I have had this for over 50,000 miles and it has never let me down. Would make an excellent shoot bus or towing vehicle. MOT'd until July. Tax is £290 a year. Looking for £1800 ono. Located Merseyside I have now stopped using it in order to get it cleaned and ready for sale. Pictures to follow and inspection welcome. Good Points: LPG System Front and Rear Towbars Mud/Snow Tyres Headlamp Protectors Heated Seats Cruise Control etc. Boot Liner Bad Points: Some battle scars on body work. Electric aerial not working Air con needs re-gas Check Engine light currently on (This is booked in for diagnostic on Tuesday but has in the past been showing lean mixture due to the LPG system) Any questions just ask.

I'm trying to get a flash code from the check engine light on my 2001 Trooper 3.5 petrol. The usual cheat is to bridge terminals 4 & 6 on the diagnostic socket but this doesn't seem to work. Does anybody have experience of this without taking it to a dealer??

Kawasaki Quad used on our shoot for last few years. Good solid and reliable quad. Permanent 4WD and mechanical 5 speed pedal gear change. Very good (nearly new) tyres. Will also have new battery. Handlebars and racks have surface rust but quad is mechanically sound and has plenty of life in it. Sold with number plate and V5 document. Plus a spare rear wheel. I doubt its illegal. I'm not sure how you would crimp the end again though. Plus alarm mines are generally blackpowder for quick bang and flash. Modern nitro cartridges would pretty much fizz in that scenario I think.

Try Roger Morgan at Ellmor Ltd. He now has an online shop but might be better to telephone. He stocks them and has posted them to me in the past at standard rates. Getting them to Northern Ireland might be more of an issue due to carriage options with an explosive though.

Thanks Fizz Definitely no suggestion that they will be misused. I am fully aware they need to be used in a flare gun and will ensure that the end recipient is also aware. I just want rid!

Thanks for the info. Out of interest are they normally date stamped? (These aren't). How would out of date flares be disposed of? Does bonfire night wonderment count as 'good cause'??!!

Yep. Wonder if the screw cap indicates colour then?? Possibly just white search/signal flares?
