One of my shoots has a small grass meadow along side the big garden,down the middle of this meadow are x4 large walnut trees these are magnets to the local tree rats a .410 shogun soon deals with them had loads in the last 3 years atb brian

I agree 100% with the above, I have dealt with Carl over a number of years often just a chat over the phone always helpful and that mad irish sense of humour, I am sure we have not heard the last of him. atb brian

i shoot an annie 1417 .22lr bunny bashing with a nite site nswolf nv on board, i use primos tripod trigger sticks and sit comfortably on a small fishing stool , 100 yds is my max range and no further thats my prime accuracy range and have taken loads of bunnies at this range. atb brian

Any Annie rimfire is good Steve, I have x2 the 1417 .22lr & one in semi-auto .22lr brilliant rifles they are too go for it!!!! atb brian

still quite a lot around my area killed x11 over friday/saturday nights and secured x3 new permissions with quite bad bunny problems but i have a cure for them!!!! so will be busy weather permitting!! atb brian

I agree with you Ultrastu . my fac airranger .22 was set at 60fpe when i bought it it now operates @37fpe which is good use of the air supply and its accurate too the only fac airgun i have that is outrageous is my .303 wolverine@100fpe with a 50.15 grain pellet its devastating!!!! atb brian

Hi Iggy ,the hw35 is now very popular again and there are loads of posts about them on the AirgunBBS forum, the hw95 is a good gun but does suffer from muzzle flip when fired ,the hw99 is very good and my favourite break barrel if you google Welsh Willy at Woodfield Gun Care products he does a good tune up for most springers both break barrels and under leavers , he is very good. atb brian

My fac .22 at 40fpe sure stops any tree rat in its tracks, never rated .177 at fac levels because of over penetration I did have a .20 cal fac at 26 fpe that was a good gun. atb brian

In fac air I find for my personal use .22 cal @30 fpe is the perfect match and although I have a .303 at 100 fpe which I only shoot for fun because of x12 shot count, my .22 airranger is deadly accurate although it is a large airgun because I shoot off tripod shooting sticks its not a problem . 30 fpe is the ideal power for shot count/ power impact. atb brian

The best scope i find with NV addons ,and i currently have x3 nv addons is the. MTC mamba & mamba lite scopes, all of my guns i use for NV have MTC scopes fitted to them no problems just lots of dead pests!!!!! atb brian

I shoot x3 .22 lr and 17 hmr ,as stated on other posts the fac air is used on where rimfires cannot be used on my shoots lots of footpaths , roads etc, the .303 was i must admit bought for fun but boy it is fun!!!! atb brian

My .303 wolverine at 100 fpe and 50.15 grain pellets puts lots of smiles on my face knocks bunnies over like skittles out to 100 yds on a good day, only 12 shots though at full power. atb brian

same here Fandango i also have the wolverine .303 it puts a smile on my face every time i use it, although my normal fac airgun for hunting is my air ranger.22 @37fpe with bis mag pellets it sure takes out the pests. atb brian
