Hi i recently started shooting pigeon over land where they have lakes and I am thinking of using steel shots to stop the lead from going into the lakes, if i do should i change the barrels i have a new browning 525 which is steel profed but would the steel damage the barrels if i shoot alot through them, does anybody have any advice on what to do thanks.
  7. Hi does anybody have any advice, i am currently using hull 30g 6's on the pigeons but i find that when they are close they near enoguh plucks them, but they are great for 40-50 yards, i have some 7.5 28g clay carts and was wondering if i should use these but then wouldn't it restrict the distance, and i aslo shoot the odd crow that flies over along with rabbits and magpies so should i carry on using the 6's and just let them fly further before shooting or use the lighter cartridges, thanks.
