i know this topic has been spoken about before on the forum but today i went into a konditor and cook a chocolate shop shop in grays inn road to get 10 easter eggs for the people at work as a gift i ordered them they put them in in separate bags and handed me the card reader when i said i was paying cash the look i got was unreal we do not take cash she said we are a cashless shop needless to say they can stick them then i can not believe in todays climate shops are turning away trade

i use an old recipe grate the radish and leave in hot water for about 10 mins or boil for a few mins to soften mix white wine vinegar touch of english mustard bit of sugar ( caster is better) bit of salt and pepper and double cream mix it all up and add drained raddish bloody lovely you can also mix cream fraiche insted of cream if you want it a bit thicker

brilliant picture and nice to see one doing its natural thing instead of raiding fish lakes

i witnessed a sparrowhawk take a blue tit off of one of my feeders in the garden i saw it about 3 gardens away what a fantastic sight it was the hawk was flying low and fast just skimming the fences and when it hit the blue tit just a puff of feathers and it was gone something i will never forget

as marshman said treat it as a good day out and if a nice gun comes up and is a reasonable price grab it i love auctions but i dont get carried away with the bidding i set myself a limit and dont ever go over it when i have lost a bid i always kick myself later but its better that than to get carried away there is always another auction coming up
