  1. A certain scene from `The Life of Brian` comes to mind................
  2. Yes,it`s been a strange autumn ,nothing has been normal from the beginning of harvest ! The rape on my ground has all failed and been re-drilled with barley too,so nothing to look for there !
  3. Nope, definitely feeding on the rape, widely scattered across 3 fields totalling circa 40 acres. We have had a few frosts recently and they were feeding in the woods last week but this am they were out.
  4. Went out early walking this morning ,it was a beautiful dawn . By 8.30 ish on the return leg I was passing 3 rape fields which are along the edge of mature woodland ,they all had good numbers down feeding on them in the morning sun with more sitting in the woodland edge.
  5. Alex Harvey for his humour!! Ronnie Dio for rock .
  6. What about the Romans? And those nasty Norsemen ? Can I make a claim ????? Must be a law firm somewhere thinks there`s a case to be made(£ out of).
  7. Know of a Hybrid RR and it has a 2.0l petrol in it. Sparks + petrol and...... As said they`ll try and twist their way out of the truth with this story .
  8. Apologies for late response ! The Guide is excellent for spec, gives clear image of rabbits out to 150,foxes 200 yds ish depending on the atmospherics .Rat sized stuff you need to be much closer. Sheep/deer/cattle are id able far beyond shooting ranges,as others have said movement comfirms it usually. The unit scans well too ,with only very occasional freezes. Batteries last a long time (18650) probably 3.5 hrs continuos use and are easily changed if the dark ! The Pulsar is better by a magnitude ,foxes out to5/600 yds, larger stuff probably twice that . Depends what you wish to spend really .Hth
  9. I`d guess manufacturers won`t be loading slow moving lines when there`s no knowing how long they`ll be able to sell lead loads for .
  10. Used a Pulsar XM30f quite a bit now and don`t think you would need more for foxing. Also have a Guide TD210 which is very good for a budget piece, especially for rimfire use etc.
  11. This ,in heaps .Been out most of day feeding etc and every stubble of all variety plus emerging rape fields have a few birds widely scattered on them.
  12. Nope, don`t blame them at all . It`s misadventure if that sort of job goes askew.
  13. Try Jet Hall results, they ran it.

    Net Zero

Yep,stupidly crippling our country when in reality whatever we do would not make a jot of difference to anything on a World scale.

    Net Zero

Oo,don`t offer facts and reality ,it doesn`t fit with the wokey fairytale!
  16. She`s a token chav to attract the votes ,I guess she would be cut adrift if they win.
  17. Some cars need a floor raiser kit (or diy) even to accomodate a space saver wheel.
  18. Only go out after lunch,as others say,2pm onwards takes the best of it in,usually it`s quiet by 4.30-5pm.
  19. Richard Milner Ltd seems to be the company behind the website.
  20. I take the whole issue of non-toxic for the nonsense that it and all the other eco, green ,global warmth ,trendy issues are. The point is ,here we have a future legal loading that meets the standards set by authority ,which can be used in ordinary game guns by those of us who wish to use them.Whether they live up to the eco hype is of no issue, legality and performance are.
