  1. 19mm down to the sizing ring or land which is only 2.5mm circa ,then remaining depth is 21mm rather than your 20.4. The external step is at 24mm from the top and reduces to circa 23.75 to drop into the rear rh position on loader.
  2. Shell holder is a hair over 20mm at case mouth . 53mm base to top. Sizer plunger is 22.1 mm dia. 19mm deep with approx 14.3mm pocket to locate on spigot of loader. Pocket is 16mm deep. Sizing ring i can only guess as about 20.5 mm X 2.5mm contact band which is reduced from 23mm int dia of sleeve.
  3. Some pictures of the shell holder and re sizing collar and plunger that you are missing .Hth
  4. Had the pleasure of using a McKay Brown O/U 20b ,simply fantastic ! Sadly unobtainium pour moi!
  5. Bought my 1st Altbergs in the spring,Kisdon G last after decades of Meindls.Done a lot of walking in the Kisdons and they`ve proven to be the most comfortable boots I think I`ve ever bought,as well as having soles which seem to find grip in most situations .Hth.
  6. A pal bought a Wraith a month or so ago which went went on his .22rf....a very impressive bit of kit which was easily fitted and zeroed and certainly out performs the rifle ...at £300 odd pounds a bargain I`d say!
  7. You have to remember that they may be doing different things 250 miles further north tho` !
  8. Ten out of ten for effort ! It was bloomin cold today...I had a couple of walks around and shot one ....

    Ebay Scammer

I was the buyer ,the item was delivered to an address 10 miles away according to Ebay`s system but they and the seller just stated that the item had been delivered !!! It was only a £25 purchase but it wouldn`t have mattered if it was £250 or £2500 at stake !!! My 18yrs and 100% record as a customer stood for zilch . Good news is that a month later the item arrived through the courier`s system but that had zilch to do with Ebay!!!

    Ebay Scammer

Had a similar experience of Ebay`s intransigent manner ......closed my account and forgot about them ! They are not interested in anything but revenue. Vote with your feet.
  12. Is the PBir much of an improvement on the ir that comes with the Wraith?
  13. The media are the government in this country ,they have much to be held to account for imho.
  14. Visited Thimbleby today as I wanted to try a gun that I`ve just had some trigger work done to ,1st time for over a year .Looked busy when I pulled in but shot 100 on various stands that I could walk straight onto .A lot of very good, sensible presentations with plenty to please game shots,ie most targets flat or rising as opposed to the current trend in ESP for dropping targets ! Credit where it is due ,good presentations, no `no birds` and a lot of choice .
  15. Same here, been watching some feeding on a block of fields for about 10 days ,biggest numbers on a couple of cold days mid week. It`s not backward rape either ,but they`re getting down amongst it from 9-11am.
  16. Progress !!!......the idiots have taken over good and proper now,i think we`re in the regression cycle , with decisions taken by people that only drive desks and computers.
  17. Yeah,I do feel for all the poor hurt snowflakes.......
  18. RIP ,another taken too soon by this awful affliction.
  19. I`d love to know how any of it actually affected the driver ......
  20. If you need bigger, unfortunately you just have to accept very high running costs.
  21. Sounds like your Duster is exactly what you ,and most of us, need as an everyday drive. Not seen one on a shoot day yet but no doubt I shall one day ! I`ve found the Yeti to be a very capable car on all fronts, just a shame that like most other useful vehicles, they stopped making them ...
  22. As above,`proper 4x4 ` and economical don`t go together ! Only the Duster/Yeti type are a sensible prospect for those of us with limited finances !!!
  23. Both lovely guns but that is a really nice round action that you have !!!!!!
  24. I`m sure there`ll be plenty of `sustainable`ammo available come the time that it is all they can make and sell! I`ve used the lowest performing (supposedly) 20b steel loads currently available and found it perfectly acceptable fpr normal shooting,so don`t see an issue... Last year I also drove a long way to one of your premier Lancashire dealers to look at a gun they had in stock, only to be told that my Beretta o/u was of no interest as it wasn`t steel proofed! An hour later in Yorkshire that same gun was worth £1k in a trade that was done there and then .Like I say it`s largely a ruse imho!
  25. The dealers just see the whole fiasco as an opportunity to sell new guns to their less informed customers by playing on suitability issues that generally do not exist!
