Great, seems that Ive done it the correctly. Was expecting someone to say that bubble wrap can damage the blueing or something like that.
Cheers
HEDD
Oh yes. It'll take the blueing right off and rot the wood, but at least it won't have any dents in it!

I've only sent a shotgun, but I wrapped it in bubble wrap, put it in the box then packed the ends and free space with scrunched up newspaper.

As far as I was aware (and I stand to be corrected) .204 Ruger is the calibre. A remington .204 rifle would still be .204 ruger calibre.

But he does look a bit like Elvis, so can't be all bad.

Better shoot then all just in case

I love this programme as well!
The music production on it is awful though Reminds me of the music you get on cheap market porn.
Really?

Do you really trust anyone on here to give you a proper answer? Your mate could well end up with "I **** my pants" on his arm forever. Mind you, no-one would ever know.

Perhaps we could just take a policeman along with us each time we go. They're going to turn up anyway, so this would save all the questions and nee-naa racing to the scene. Maybe just a PCSO to save them from arresting litter bugs. They could carry our stuff for us.

Hair where there wasn't any. No hair where there was. Needing to find my reading glasses to do the most simple tasks. Walking into rooms and forgetting why. Seeing my son cringe when I say things. I forget what else!

Justice served at last. Let's hope other thieving scum take note.

Brilliant news

That is quick! No tips apart from what you already said. No point in being dishonest as they know the answers before they ask.
Maybe your FEO doesnt like coffee and is a tea man?

so if the 1st burglar was shot in the bed room (how he walked away lord knows) where was the other shot one wonders. surely if they were shot close range they would not have got out the building!!!! not saying the guy was wrong to shoot just saying i think theres more to this to come so i reserve judgement for now
Needed to use SGs instead of no.8 shot I reckon
P.S Is that judge in the first case a complete **** or what. He should serve the prison sentence for the scrote he let go.

One thing ...
Unless the rules have changed, a non-FAC air rifle can be sent via a parcel delivery service if you are a private seller. The face-to-face part only applies to S1/S2 weapons.
I'm happy to be corrected if I'm wrong, however
Yes, airguns can be sent direct if it is a private sale.
-
I wouldn't send anything till i had the money. Everyone pays for things before they are sent. Maybe a bank transfer would be simpler as Paypal now have a bizarre anti-gun policy and if they get a whiff of what it's for they will probably suspend your account, or both your accounts.

That'll calm down once it's run in, but then 1 litre per 4-5000 miles doesn't sound excessive anyway.

Wow! Impressive.
Do you reckon this is a bit lenient?

If he WAS drunk and on drugs, he shouldn't have been. If he wasn't, he was just a thug who can't control his temper. Either way he should have been banged up for a lot longer. Some poor family has got to do without a husband/father/brother/son because of this imbecile.
