Tourer without a doubt. No extra road tax or MOT to worry about. Just hitch up and go. I can't see how setting up a tourer when you get to site takes any longer than a campervan. They both need levelling and utilities plugged in. Unhitching takes about 30 seconds.

After a bit of not-very enthusiastic off-roading last week, I managed to do this to the side step on my truck. Toyota UK couldn't be bothered to answer my email about a replacement and a quick drive to my nearest Toyota dealer wasn't much help. One guy told me this wasn't the standard side step on a Hilux (even though it's on every one I've seen). Another told me it must have been a special order from the factory, or it was an aftermarket one - until I told them I bought the truck new from them. Pages of parts diagrams yielded nothing but they persevered and phoned me today with a price for a new one. Approx figures - Step £600, brackets £260, end caps £50, rubber step pads £50, fitting £120 all plus VAT!! A grand for a tube of obviously not very strong steel. A grand!

I've often seen a group of crows (yes I know it's a murder) harassing a lone buzzard off a dead animal or out of their area. The buzzard normally backs down for a quiet life. Today I heard a commotion and as I looked round a buzzard had killed a crow mid-flight and it fell to the ground a few yards away from me. I wondered if the buzzard had just picked up a dead crow and dropped it, but the crow drew its last few breaths as I walked over to it. A load of crows were swooping on the buzzard which casually landed in a tree nearby and completely ignored the crows dive bombing it till they got fed up and went away. Why do you reckon this one was such a boss? Could it have been protecting a nest nearby?

I thought you had to get the doctor to fill in a pro-forma that you sent in with your application. At least my force asked me to do that. I could read everything the doctor wrote - which was basically nothing except ticking a few boxes and signing it. I find it hard to believe "admin" would write something that wasn't on his record. Sounds like your mate might not be telling you the whole truth.

Getting your phone out of your pocket to look at the time then putting it back is so much quicker and more convenient than slightly angling your wrist towards you.

I switched them off on my phone. There was an option to switch off "extreme alerts" or "severe alerts" or both. They'll be sending severe alerts when the temp gets over 75 degrees or there's 1mm of snow on the ground. Extreme alerts when it hits 80.

The air on a plane is probably cleaner than most air conditioned offices. I guess the reason you might be "more likely" to catch something is because of the number of people in a small space rather than the a/c.

On the bright side, at least everyone got a bonus point....
