  1. Here we go again lads. Me and @Rim Firecan be unpleasant to each other for a few weeks, then back to civility for the rest of the year like we always do. 😃 Good luck to everyone, whoever your team is.
  2. Nice shooting. Never had much luck shooting rats myself. Must need a bigger target. 😃
  3. You won't know till it's plugged in. The engine light could be causing the slip indicator light, or the other way round.
  4. Not sure if this has been asked but apart from the wood maybe being too damp, what wood is she trying to burn. Some woods look OK but only smoulder.
  5. Looking forward to Fury Wilder IV and Fury Chisora IV. zzzzzzzz
  6. The easiest way to resize photos stored on your computer is to open them in "paint", click resize and select the % you want.
  7. Spolied for choice here. I've got some 4x1 and some downpipe. Going to see what I can knock up once 'er indoors has stopped finding me things to do.
  8. Well yes, but then I still have the made up rods to think about. Might end up with half hanging and half standing. Some good ideas there chaps. Thanks.
  9. Typically none of my sleeves have loops on them. I saw some like that. Trouble is if the top is wide enough to accept a 3 piece rod in its sleeve, the made up rods will fall out.
  10. The only times "Look" is allowed at the start of a sentence: Look at that glorious sunset/sunrise/view. Look out!
  11. I'm looking for any ideas on how best to store fishing rods in the garage. I've seen online some ideas for making rod racks and some shop bought ones, but they all seem to be for made up rods but I'd like to store some broken down in their rod sleeves and some made up. There's going to be about 8-10 rods still in their sleeves and 4 made up rods & reels. Any suggestions much appreciated.
  12. I can recommend the RYA powerboat course. I did the level 2. The amount of stuff you learn that just didn't cross your mind is incredible. If you prefer books: RYA Start Powerboating RYA Navigation Handbook RYA VHF Handbook Coastal and Offshore Navigation - Tom Cunliffe Coastal Navigation - Gerry Smith (older but very informative and has tests and exercises in it)
  13. Same as mine but in better nick. It's a British (or possibly Canadian) Army jack knife. Probably made WW1 but were issued up till the 50s. The small blade is an inefficient can opener. The ones made in Sheffield had a forked kind of can opener.
  14. The beauty of actually being there is you don't get any of that. And you get the chance to join in a mexican wave.
  15. I've seen a few of these matches on telly and thought it looked decent fun. We went to see Welsh Fire play the Southern Braves at Sophia Gardens on Monday. For £20 each we got to see 2 matches. Womens and Mens. What a great day out for £40.
  16. Doesn't everyone have their own borehole? How quaint! 😃
  17. I know they need t be sure the dog is going to a good home, but some of these rescue places make out they're doing you a favour letting you have a dog. We looked into it a while back and I'm sure it's easier to adopt a child.
  18. R.I.P Dangerous Davies.
