If you could only have one gun for pigeon shooting, vermin and clays what would it be?

Cheers for the advice. I've been here for about 4 years now but have been really busy at work with afghan and stuff so not really had a chance to get about and meet people. Get to do lots of shooting at work but not much in my spare time, i'm trying to find something i can shoot at that wont shoot back. getting my shotgun certificate sorted this year so i'll look into buying days at pigeons with a guide and some clay shooting to get back on the scene. i come from a farm in ireland and have loads of shooting over there but don't get home much anymore, maybe could organise a shooting holiday for people and swap some permission. bit of a mission to get there but is well worth it.

What about the armed forces i'm in the army could i get a friend or superior rank to do it. what rank would they need to be. would it need to be an officer?

who qualifies as an upstanding member of the community to countersign your sgc. can it be anyone who's known you and how do they qualify as a responible person
