  1. 2006 (55 Plate) Isuzu Rodeo 3.0TD Automatic 80763 miles. Selling my Isuzu Rodeo after many years of loyal service. Bought new by myself Jan 2006 and has a genuine 80763 miles on it. Never had an issue with it and all advisories etc have been done with two new front tyres in February. MOT'd until 04/02/2018 and currently on SORN and ready to drive away. As per the norm for an 11 year old vehicle there are some chips etc and there is a bit of rust forming on the rear driver door (as per the picture). The bull bars are slightly bend where some one reversed into them in a car park and took off but they did there job and protected the front. Some of the laquer is starting to peel off the roof of the rear box (as per picture) which has windows that open. The top can't be locked as the locks are rubbish but its an easy lock replacement. Bargin at £3000 which was what I was going to get as a trade in but got a better deal on a newer one without the trade in. Would make an excellent shooting truck. Located not far from Edinburgh.
  2. No it was abolished in 2004. When buying a property in Scotland, there is no freehold and leasehold distinction. What you buy is 100% yours and you can say everything is freehold in Scotland. Once you buy the property, you can give a tenancy to someone else so they can occupy it for a rent. The desirability of having 100% ownership is that there is no other landlord controlling how the property is managed with extra service charges payable and the buyer does not need to worry about having to pay a premium to extend their lease before it expires. This would then make it easier to sell a property as in England, leases with less than 70 years remaining would find it difficult for buyers to obtain a mortgage.
  3. Look at groupon goods. Kitvision splash should be £69.99. There doing it for £17.99. Gets good reviews and takes hd video. Does need an sd card though.
  4. Why the issue with house keys. The way some people appear to think it seems that if you have a cabinet in the house no one other than the certificate holder can have keys to the house. So better get those other keys off the wife and not let anyone in the house unles the certificate holder is there. As long as they can't get the keys to the cabinet what's the issue. We are maybe different in Scotland and I know a few feo's and the only keys they are worried about being secure are the cabinet keys.
  5. Point at the clay press the trigger just like you would, a small light built into the sight turned green if you hit it and red if you missed it. Also had an electronic gun shot sound when you pressed the trigger and you only got two shots per clay.
  6. I've done it, there's no recoil and I couldn't get out of leading the clay so I kept missing as you just aim straight at it. But it was good fun and I did lose by a couple of clays to my brother in law who had done it before and found it easy to aim straight at them.

    John Deere 5090m

Had a look online and it appears that you remove the hook and replace it with the drawbar which is seperate like the case he has just now and the zetor before that. Just hope it comes with it otherwise it's John Deere prices.
  8. Anyone have or used a John Deere 5090m tractor. My dad is looking at one to replace his aging tractor. It seems to fit the bill i.e simple and reliable as it's only needed to cut and bale hay and move the bales around with the loader. Only thing we can't see is if it can be fitted with a drawbar. It only ever says it has a pick up hook and we need to be able to also fit a drawbar for the baler. Most other tractors allow you to remove the hook and put a drawbar on so assuming this will be the same.
  9. Has anyone around the Linlithgow, Central Scotland area have a fox trap that I could have a loan of to resolve a fox problem. Our Jack Russell has been going loopy wanting out at all times of the night but we couldn't work out why. However last night we put a cooked chicken carcass in the food waste recycling bin (which does have a handle that locks it shut) and this morning it's gone. We opened the door this morning to veg peelings on the path and on closer inspection the waste bin had been unlocked, the chicken was gone and there are fox hairs on the bin. Possibly got a town fox that someone has decided to release into the wild as we have never had any of the local foxes right at the front door (where the bin was) as the smell of the dog seemed to keep them away, there are numerous rabbits around for them to eat and we are seeing it during the day as well. Now that foxy has decided to visit it's got to go. I don't mind the odd one keeping the rabbits down but this one has also been trying to get at a neighbours chickens and it's not getting to go anywhere near ours. Unfortunately we have a very small area in the field that we could shoot it with the shotgun on (which currently has long grass we are trying to cut for hay if it ever stops raining) and definitely not big enough for a fox calibre rifle. So I'm on the look out for a loan of a trap to catch it or someone who wants to have a go at catching it so It can be "rehomed" properly.

    PayPal Fraud

Don't log in through the email as that's how they steal the information. The link will go to a site they have created that looks the same as the genuine site. It usually has a similar url as well like amazoon.co.uk or payepal co.uk that they are betting on you not noticing. Go to the proper site and log in there and contact pay pal that way. I get several phishing emails like this every month.
  11. I am selling my 07 plate 650cc Suzuki Bandit as I don't get any time to ride it now. It is the last of the air cooled models, 24,396 miles, blue in colour with ABS. MOT just ran out in March but I will put a full year on it for the buyer, It passed its MOT last year no bother just needing a new front tyre which has been done. I can send Pics to anyone interested. Great bike I will be sad to let go. Looking for £1800 for it.
  12. Already tried them and they only do the front pipe with no cat and a disclaimer it will probably cause the vehicle to fail an mot. The rest of it is cheaper it's just the front part that's the problem as it appears it's only Isuzu that sell them for a fortune.
  13. Anyone know a company that will do an exhaust for a 2005 rodeo Denver dmax for a reasonable price. It needs a complete system including cat (Doesn't pass emmision test without it) and Isuzu want £800.
  14. Thanks like to know a little about who I deal with especially when it's so far away.
  15. Anyone use the above shop. Looking at a used rifle they have and looking for some info on them as the shops a bit far away from me as I live in Scotland. Don't want to go through an rfd transfer if there not any good and describe there guns rather generously.
  16. The Pm Hasn't come through for some reason I will try and PM you back.
  17. I have a Scary sounds CD that contains two CDs with Gunshot, thunder and fireworks noises that we used to get the dog used to them. £10 posted. Also a Shotgun cert wallet £5 posted
  18. One of the electric window switches went on my izusu rodeo and you can only get it as a complete unit with all the window switches etc on it. Izuzu wanted nearly £300 so went online ordered what I assumed was a pattern part as it cost just £120 delivered from Thailand inc import duties. When it arrived it was a genuine Isuzu part just shows how much the main dealers rip you off.
  19. It doesn't matter who buys the car the owner and registered keeper are not the same thing. The registered keeper is just the person responsible for the road tax, fines etc (ie saying who the driver was at the time) and is not necessarily the owner.
  20. Yes they are on pnc but playing devils advocate how do the police know the Joe bloggs in front of them is the Joe bloggs who holds the certificate without seeing the picture. We have to remember the act was written before computers.
  21. Yes they do. Sec 48 of the act provides that a constable may demand production of a certificate from any person they believe to be in possession is sec 1 firearms or ammunition or a shotgun. If a person fails to produce a cert or refuses to allow a constable to read it the constable may seize any weapons and ammunition and demand the person gives their name and address. If you refuse to give your name and address you may be arrested without a warrant. Though in force most cops do t know this or are happy with a check of the computer now.
  22. The ground I go to has an acoustic release system. Or for a bit of unpredictability I take my 6 year old son.
  23. Currently sitting in a shopping centre with the wife at a craft fair as she has a a stall at it. Needless to say boredom is starting to set in so got the tablet out and am able to get the free O2 WiFi. Tried to log onto guntrader and told that the site is blocked as O2 take there security seriously and block sites they deem may be offensive, threat to your security etc. in a public place. Link to tell them why it shouldn't be blocked so sent them a reply. Be interesting what they come back with. Thankfully PW isn,t blocked. Let's you into gunwatch though.
