  1. I'll be there, all day both days, manning the IPAS (Iron Plate Action Shooting) stand in the Airgun section.
  2. As you live in a rented flat, you may be wise to check with your landlord. There may be a clause in your rental agreement that prohibits the storage of firearms on the premises. I hope you'll be OK as once you start, clay shooting is a fantastic sport. Kind Regards Bob
  3. Ah, thanks for the info and the link guys, most helpfull.
  4. Hi all, Please forgive my ignorance but What is it? who can play? and how much does it cost please? I have only just started clay shooting but as I live in Daventry, this looks quite interesting. All the best Bob
  5. Mine hs [CH] under the monoblock so from other info I have been sent, it would appear mine is 2011. I am really looking forward to getting to know this gun.

i'm just up the road from you in Daventry, and yes, same here. Where are you shooting tomorrow?
  8. Emtech will be at the shooting show in Newark. As I will be there exhibiting Iron Plate Action Shooting I will be paying a quick visit to their stand and have my ear impressions taken for a new set of internal ear protectors that still let you hear the spoken word. I have the Peltor Sportac but I will not wear them while shooting my new DT10 because I hate the thought of the things denting the top comb.
  9. Yes Timps, I'd read about yours nearly getting a swimming lesson. :o Those photos were taken before I had rubbed some English Walnut Preparation oil in to the wood. That has given it a nice sheen and seems to have brought the grain pattern out even more. One fellow has messaged me to say that when he bought his "new" it was in fact 3yrs old and on top of that, when he traded it in, the young lady who dealt with him found a hairline crack in the stock by the top lever - apparently a common problem. Does anyone else have experience of this, or know how to check the age of the gun via its serial number?
  10. They didn't but it's close enough to Kettering/Wellingborough to be well worth considering. Lots of shooters attend Kibworth from both these areas, also Corby and Daventry. So, in the spirit of being helpful to the original poster, it was worthy of mention.
  11. LOL SOD OFF!! It is not a EELL, it has the rather plain action but it does have lovely wood (a bit like me when I saw it
  12. Following on from above, my SGC finally arrived Yesterday morning and I picked my new DT10 up from Matt and Hanna today. It was bloody cold but not a breath of wind and I had a fantastic time, allbeit alone, shooting 50 clays.
  13. Knowing my luck I'd end up throwing my gun and trying to shoot it with a bit of clay stuck in a lump of rubber.
  14. I also shoot at Kibworth. Quite a good ground with good facilities. The 100 bird shoot may soon be discontinued so it might not have to be avoided soon.
