  1. Hi i have one of these left handed. very easy to strip and clean and will cycle from 24gram carts upwards with ease. yes a cheap gun but i love mine.
  2. well i love my webley & scott 810 semi left handed. almost go a escort but the webley fitted a bit better.
  3. hi i used some of these this weekend 29g no.6 in my webley&scott 810 and out of 100 shot 2 jammed with there metal base seperating from them. leaving me struggling to remove the rest in the barrel.
  4. I have the Hawke Compact LRF 400 Rangefinder i find it a great piece of kit to walk arround a new permission to get distances. and its small enough to fit in shirt pocket and use on a whim when im quite not sure on range. but the only downside if shooting just before sunrise or after sunset the lcd display can be hard to read. great upto 200yds but beyond that smmall game rabbits or fence posts it struggles to pick up quickly (not that i shoot at them at that range just saying what i have found with mine). for the max 400 yards it needs a good size object deer size side on to get a reading from it. battery life mine is still going strong 18 months down the line. best £100 spent.
  5. hmmmm tell you what im up for south down i can get another couple of chaps non of us are any good ...i keep buying 12g blanks

  6. well i booked the week of also. but the rain aint going to stop me. i'm shopping for my first shottie. the thing thats anoying me is bank holidays all shops shut. roll on tomorrow. buy gun. wear rain gear. be the only person on the clay ground.
  7. that will be good to shoot with someone. once i get a gun next week. ill be up for a bit of clays. give me your number and i'll call you nearer the time to arrange a shoot at southdown. Darryl

  8. Well, here's another newcomer to the area, so if it's Southdown your're heading for & you don't want to shoot on your tod - happy to join you as billynomates here has been solo to Southdown a few times now...

  9. HI my 400 carbine single shot version of the 410. i fill to 180bar and get 50 shots down to 110 bar all within 15fps not bad for a unreged gun. if hunting i rarely use more than 25 shots.on one trip it only gets annoying when doning targets.but refil is easy with a 3 litre 300 bar bottle only takes 2 mins. a lot easier than my old 12 litre bottle. that was heavy to lug about the range. would i get better consistancy from a reg maybe i'd loose a few fps variants per fill and gain about 30 shots. to me would i pay the money. i wouldn't. if you can live with shot count and service your 410 yourself keep the hammer slide clean. shot variation should be close to a regged gun.
  10. yep southdown is my closest clay ground .im in lancing. thanks for all the welcomes
  11. Hello guys and girls i have been lurking about for 16 weeks looking and reading. but since my sgc arrived today i can start posting. i didnt want to post just incase i got a no. i sent of application on 13th dec and only recieved licence today. . i will try and not ask about snap caps, hatson escort semi's and other stuff thats done to death. anyway a week of work next week to look at shopping. this time i'll look forward to shopping. also i'll have a new home southdown gun club. and hopfully some of my experiance of airrifles might be useful to some people. but as for shotguns i'm a novice i've only shot about 250 through a mate gun. practice practice.
