  1. I have had two ranges and I have had all the above done as well as, new batteries (regularly), rear wash wipe system replaced, reverse cam. Now being fair they are a great drive and command the road, you get to your peg and sit on the tailgate and you feel like the ********. But when you buy one bear in mind it will break. If you know that your fine. That said I've bought a landcruiser.
  2. Curve ball Spent 300 quid on le chameau in jan. Split in march Bought jack pyke neoprene full side zip Been working on the house in a building site theybare mint Hunters are abysmal and to narrow lots of ankle twists But it is personal so go for thatbretail experience of le chameau and hear the noise of paper tearing as you are ripped off!!!!!!!!
  3. Hi many thanks for that, I am aware of the seasons. It was an enquiry in readiness and maybe even for pigeons. But thankyou anyway
  4. Hi gents had my first experience of wildfowl this year and thoroughly enjoyed it. I would really like to try some rough shooting and wondered if any pw members go out in cheshire lancashire derbyshire who would be willing to take me. I am happy to pay and cover any costs incurred. But im not a bad shot and very keen to learn all aspects. Wouldnt be a regular thng so no obligation. Just a one off session. Ta Simon
  5. Because pigeonwatch entries are the barometer for experience in customer service!
  6. Shot 75 at worsley which should win the a class but it would appear they have lost my card!
  7. Gamebore Black Gold 7.5 and 8s in plas 28grmm F2 225£ Ouch But I do like them What can you do Black Gold plas 7.5 and 8s F2?? If they are right my squad will have loads. CUrrently paying 225
  8. Harmless, Andrew runs all the events and day to day at Worsley, if you call up and explain that you want a bash as it were I am sure he can sort you out a taster session with an instructor at a reasonable price. He is a hell of a nice guy and very accomadating. If you do not have a SGC you will need an instructor or go with an SGC holder you know to get you started. Newbies come to Worsley all the time and are always helped out to go out. I cant recommend the guy enough. Andy will sort you out (Just dont mention his golf..... its awful)
  9. Cg barrels in 32 sounds like a plan. I very much get the impression that itsbpersonal preference and not a scientific reason. Many thanks chaps. Oh and i have a beautiful wife who cannot cook whatsoever.
  10. I won A class! Ok it was a poo score, but i still won! Make em harder mossy!
  11. Thanks so if it feels right go with it! Appreciate the advice, just want to get better and didnt know what effect it was gonna have. Simon
  12. Can anyone help, Ive got a caesar guerini 30 inch o/u.Ive been offered a 32 inch dt10. What difference does the barrel length make. I short sporting all the time its a sporting gun. Its the right money etc etc. There are some very knowledgeable people on here can anyone let me know the pros and cons. I have a big cabinet!
  13. I think what Im getting at here is a low key informal shoot that guys can choose to enter or not. Its for two purposes. 1. Raise money for a good cause 2. get a feeling from the top shots on here whether or not the ground is to their required standard. There is only one competition a month at Worsley. Every saturday is a mixture of fun shooters people marking cards. People practising on relevant stands. With it being for charity you would hope an element of honesty is imposed. I think your logic is a little off the mark azzurri. The average saturday at Worsley is very laid back indeed. Obviously a bad idea, I will make a donation and can it.
  14. Dare i suggest a small test. Shoot for charity, help for hero,s, maybe a few pigeon watchers could attend. Couple of prizes, football tickets, shooting gear, cartridge etc. And maybe mossey could set upnthe stands as per he would for registered. I will give all the staff drugs, so they hug every person who enters the ground. I have to say i disagree with the staff comments. To a man including the instructors they are a bunch of very nice, very affable people. Andrew is a bit of a tool but hey ones not bad. Any thoughts. I will get 100 quids worth of prizes to donate. How many would enter on say third saturday in March. Mossey, can we do that?
  15. Mossy is making some good changes. He has put on a tough simo pair, changed a few established stands. But best of all he collared a few members and asked what they wanted. Simo,s was the reply. They have come. The club comp scores have come down dramatically, by 10 birds on average. So its tougher and getting a lot more challenging and interesting. He has also brought up three spray tan booths, offered a shooters vajazzle for the aa class winner. And brought some pink wine called roseee. **** knows what that is. All clays are now pink, essex brown (orange) or white. We have jellied eels on weds and everything is reem. He even has his name on the sunvisor of his atv. He is very keen West Ham and most most excited when they beat millwall. Vajazzles and false tans on none shoot days only please. :D :D
  16. Had a good chat with David and Phil after i'd finished shooting and they are looking to implement some interesting changes for members in the future; all good and looking forward to being a part of things at MCSC Nick I am particularly excited by the lap dancing area and the stripper pole that is going in the New Shop. I have also heard that "Topless Ladies Flush" will be reintroduced and also the new sausage roll supplier sounds fab. Onwards and upwards.
  17. Phil has assured me that he will now be tending to the ground in very suitable Essex type attire. he will from tomorrow arrive in his vehicle and it will be attired in suitable Essex livery. Accompanying his new "Spray Tan teal" and "Canvey Island Crosser" will be Phils new Staff uniform which David, Andrew and all the staff will be wearing is this. gentlemen its Jellied Eels and Pie and Mash at Wursley from Saturday geezer init!! All orange clays will now be referred to as "Light Tan target" Bleemey Blimey Blonkers eeez avin a larf Welcome to the North Phil;
  18. He did say that a low crossing Pie and Mash was on the cards for stand twelve! I believe the jellied Eels high tower is put on hold as the eels have vertigo As for the fifties will someone show me one. I am not aware we were exchanging goods for bearer bonds and will still stick to exchanging sheep and chickens for my daily wares. Only last week I bartered three score of hens for an XBOX with COD on it. The spray tan was much cheaper though, three whippets and a ferret pate.
  19. The driven cumquats on stand 9 are straight over you now and also the low crosser on eight is a granny smiths not a golden delicious. Timps i hope you share your views later as to how you go on.
  20. Hear Hear Acid House. Well said. All shooters from those dressed as Borat and those head to toe in Tweed whether competing or laughing have a place and all should be served. As a note I went to Worsley today to be rudely treated, interupted by instructors and loads of no birds. And you wont believe it, five changed stands. Some with dramatic changes which were very welcome. A pleasant chat with an instructor on the practise stands (he says he has never taken a beginner or stag on the main layout). And shock of horrors!!!! Shot 130 birds including 100 on the card and I had three no birds. My partners had two and four respectively. And the staff said "Good Morning how are you". Maybe everywhere needs a clean slate sometimes.
  21. Good luck phil your record down sarf and your commendations from those in the know will hopefully reassure people hat worsley is going the right way. I like it. Now prizemoney ....... Does anybody know how the tote works?
