  1. Cheers folks. This was painted in August and that is only one wall. The yard is sort of sunken beneath the main yard up the top. I will have a look up on anti algea spray
  2. I painted the walls in summer with aldi masonary paint and it looked great but as expected the dam green stuff came through once wet weather started. Any thing I can paint on to stop it ?
  3. I had a Baikal over and under and could not hit a arm door with it. Gave it to the son in law and he was the same and he swapped it for an old sxs which shoots a charm

  9. In short which is the Lib Dems stance on hunting and shooting or are they all as bad as each other ? She seems keen to get behind farmers which you rarely hear Boris talk about

  13. As we know you can debate on here all you like it changes nothing. People all ready have there minds made up. The bulk of the people who will vote against every thing we do certainly don't come on here. They will be the people on facebook who go through life with there fluffy bunny attitude and see a post come up with a fox being being stretched or a pheasant being shot or what ever and think that looks so cruel I will go vote against that with a few mouse clicks. With no real understanding of any of it and live in dream land of packham and flowers
  14. Nice to see some sense being talked. I must saying the hunting ban was the biggest blow going and set it all in motion. Shame it was not stopped. Halcyon days indeed. Hunting with hounds. Out with the lurchers coursing hares. The country was alive. Little country pubs booming. Small working farms up and running. No one was over sensitive about any thing the. The country side was a great place. Could snare a fox and walk down the main road with it over your shoulder and no one batted an eye
  15. Cracking thread lovely to see. All ways been on my todo to make a stick. Just need to plan ahead and get some thing seasoned
  16. I think it is right a large group of the public don't care one way or the other. But it seems to make it easier for the few that are against to keep chipping away. I hope we all get to do our thing what ever that may be for a long long time to come and as do our grandkids and theirs but in reality I think what will be left in a hundred years will not be much. That is why we should stand together fox hunting or not. The more layers we have the better
  17. The majority of time a fox is caught by dogs it does not last long. Yes there will be times when it goes wrong and yes the fox will suffer. But no different than a pheasant getting bits blown off or a goose or what ever then coasting off in the distance. Think what happens in slaughter houses day in day out I am sure plenty of things go wrong there. We all strive to avoid it but it happens and that is life. Fox hunting is not about fox control it is about sport and a day out and nothing wrong with that. Run out a snare line and you will catch more foxes than a pack ever will. But oh wait winge winge thats cruel as well. The country has gone soft and that is why one day there will be no field sports Just to add I mean no offence or disrespect to any one just my take on it. I have pretty much done it all and I love fieldsports and country life and it is so annoying to see it being taken away
  18. Again your right and I can't wait for Saturday to have another go. I have also started mounting the gun in the evenings lol
  19. Only bad move was they were in public view. Thing is you go shooting and get a bag of birds which you then breast and you have a load of remains at home to get rid of. Can't exactly wedge a load of geese in your green bin so they have to some where. As said stirring up a fuss helps no one.
  20. You are bang on though when I shoot well i am on auto pilot and don't even remember what I did
  21. Out of interest I have one of these do you know what the XTR means ? I don't think mine has exact model engraved on it. I will check with my glasses on lol. I love mine
