  1. Seems more than reasonable to me. I've been in my current place (one bed and of terrace) for just over 4 years now and its been pretty much a 5% increase year on year. Although this year the land lord turned the increase down (I am 99% sure it was driven by the letting agency so they could get more money). I was worried he was going to sell but i met him the other week and it seems like what i am paying now sort of sits right with him as the market is crazy (i am in cornwall and it is 🙄).
  2. Fully agree with Scully there and knows what he means. I was fortunate to inherit most of my guns and the feel of my B25 C3 (early 60's) and B2G (1970 iirc) is totally different to any new browning or beretta i have picked up in a gun shop. Even my Nikko supreme just feels better in the hand than even a DT11 i held. If i was to buy a new gun the first thing i would do is strip the stock and start again......
  3. I use a Nikko Supreme for sporting that my grandad had modified for DTL shooting. It shoots really high, more so than normal trap gun and it still works well for sporting. You have just got to remember to keep the barrels down as i mainly miss by shooting over the top. That being said any clay going away just gets mullered 🤣 The main thing is just feeling comfortable/confident with it.
  4. I'm on my second a Tefal Easy Fry. Not as good as my original Philips one as i feel it doesn't get as hot or heat as evenly. They are really awesome for smaller meals/oven chip. I use it or everything from chicken wings to pork chops to chips and even brownies. I am at the point where the oven is maybe used once every 3 months if i am braising something but even that has pretty much been replaced by my instant pot. I am considering going for either a two draw to going back to a philips one.
  5. Not seen a reg. one before but the speed boards are everywhere. You've got to be really careful now down here as a lot of the red light cameras are also speed cameras and average cameras are popping up everywhere. There is a drive to make a lot of the villages 20mph as well. Luckily the quite zone thing they tried around the back lanes near treliske hospital failed.
  6. Hi all So I have a multi-o-matic model 600 for sale that was my grandads. Not really sure on what to say and what all teh bits do so please look at photos. Everything seems in good condition and couple of spots of light surface rust but cant see any damage. Collection near truro but can drive short distance to meet. £200 ono
  7. I have a nikko supreme which is effectivley the same gun as nikko made them for winchester. The firing pins on mine were last replaced 15 or so years ago so they should last a while. It is my main clay gun so goes through a couple of thousand shots a year. It should last a lot longer than that. I used to live up in the north west but used to travel to wisemans down cannock as that is where my grandad used to take it. A proper gunsmiths 👍
  8. 8 more this morning off the same feeder as last time..... 1871
  9. For having the gun fitted UK gun repairs near taunton. It is a proper gun smith. I had my trap gun fitted there and cost wise depends on what you need doing.
  10. to test you could always use a snap cap after marking the "primer" with a permanent marker 🤷‍♂️
  11. There is Wiseman's in Cannock. The made/modified a ejector kicker to fit my Nikko quite a few years ago.
  12. I have a mossberg 600at New haven as well, when i did my initial research into it there were quite a few mentions of the only difference being some anti rattle bands around the magazine tube. Mine doesn't rattle so it must work.
  13. Be careful with the new 870's the quality might not be what you expect. One of the local gun shops had one of these in and when i looked at it the wood/checkering on it was very poor. To be honest the overall feel wasn't much better either considering the price.
  14. B25 B2G only because i am lucky enough to have one. 😂 In all seriousness though, one thing to look at is the top lever on them. Open and close it a few times and look at the closed position of it. It should be to the right like below, if it is to the centre then you might have a season left. However is it is to the left is needs the locking bar building back up, so a bit of welding work done by a decent gunsmith. This is the top lever of my B25 C3 after having said work done. For around £3k I would seriously look and see if you can step up to a B25 C3 here is my B2G above my C3. Nothing wrong with the B2 but.....
  15. Also to add to gordon's list check the position of the top lever when closed. When you are looking down at it if it is to the right when closed you are ok, if it is to the left the locking bolt might require welding or replacing depending on how worn it is.
