How many rabbits are killed by PW members in 2013

right i have a little 150cc quad that i have kitted out with a metal frame on the front with plumbers foam rapped round to shoot off with a lamp attached. also got a basket of the back for the rabbits. i am think of making 2 holders for the rifles (.17 and .22) just like a U-shaped piece of metal with foam rapped around and make it tight fitting so the guns don't move around. i was just wondering what you guys think. as i'm kinda worried the scopes might get knocked out of zero if travelling over rough ground by been bounced about???

yeah i'm i little bit further north but yeah it won't make much of a difference, i'm guessing they will be out by now which is a shame, will have a look on the 5th when i finish my exams, fingers crossed there is still some about on branches, if not im sure i will still shoot them in farmyard
-
really! i havn't seen any around me the parents are still feeding them at the nest. they must be close to coming out then
-
Hi guys, when do you think the young will be out of the nest? As every thing seems to be 2/3 weeks behind this year . Have any of you seen them out on the branches yet? As I haven't got chance yet to go and have a look as i'm revising for A levels. My last exam is on 5th so hoping they come out than.

i tried it last Friday with a plastic little owl and a carved wooden barn owl, put the little owl on a fence post and the barn owl on the floor with a dead jackdaw at its feet with some feather pulled out it worked a treat got 1 rook and 8 jackdaws. the didn't mob it really just circled above it about 40 feet up. i was just sat in the farms bonfire heap, i made a hide out of a few pallets and pushed all the other stuff up against it.

don't worry about it, rabbits are small than hares rabbits are a browny/grey while hares are orange/ginger hares have longer and thinner legs than rabbits and hares normally have a black tip on the top of their ears while rabbits dont
