  1. The owner Andrew Bond is in prison for raping a 14 year old boy. Dont know who is running it now but is got too unreliable for me to bother looking anymore, Ive swithched to xcweather now as t seams the most consistantly reliable.
  2. I downloaded this yesterday and have two comments. 1. Ferral pigeon can only be added in game and wildfowling menus not in other. I would have thought is would be best suited to other. 2. Wildfowling seasons in Scotland. Under Canada Geese it says they can be shot out of season under conditions of the General License. Not the case. Other than that it is very good but I will try it our properly over the weekend.
  3. This story is slightly diff3erent everywhere you read it, this one says signs have now been put up, the P&J and evening express say they were just removed. The Evening Express says the man shot the dog himself as he knew it would not survive, dont think I could bring myself to do that.
  4. 42 on rape stubble last Saturday 19 on rape stubble this saturdat 12694
  5. Aye they are there and there are some of her sisters too
  6. But it is still in stock and is an asset. Rotting food is not.
  7. Try doing that with some baguettes and natchos.
  8. Does sound like the wheel bearing, watch out as they go from a little vibration to almost undravable very suddenly. If it is the wheel bearing DO NOT get replacement from nissan. They charge something like £300 for one when you can get them online for under £100 (you cant just replace the bearing need to change the whole assembly). Alos if it is I would change both sides at the same time mine bith went within 200miles of each other.
  9. My link mmmmm Pendleton, what happened to Zara, she must be stuffing her bikini top!
  10. Surely it just means that you have to fill up 1p less the next time or you will manage to travel 1p worth of fuel further before having to fill up. If you think about it generally the price of fuel rises so if they "rip" everyone out of 1p one week then the price of fuel is likely to be highter later which case everyone will have to fill up with less fuel as they had previoulsy put in more at the lower rate.
  11. Sorry didn't realise this was the 'Stubby night vision copy' thread. I thought forums were to pose questions, do comparisons, discussions amongst others. I thought this would have been the ideal place for comparisons of peoples night vision concoctions? Its saves having multiple posts on the same subject.
  12. Not sure what range yet will be testing at the weekend when I will be at my barn range. Ok, the parts required Camera Screen Lens IR Filter (to replace the lens in your lamp)Needs to be cut to size Jack cable extension For the housing Probably depends on the diameter of your scope. Mine is 41mm aprox so used this 40mm Push fit coupling I removed the O ring from one side and it is a snug fit over my scope. 2 x 40mm push fit stop ends these both had the stop skirt buts cut off and one has a hole cut to fit the lens through. The one with the hole is glued i place where tha camera gives a clear picture and the other has two holes drilled to allow the two cables to exit and pushed it to seal the unit. I currently have a 22mm pipe clip to mount my screen, might replace this, but as it does the job Im happy with it the way it is now.
  13. Fianlly got my NV up and running. Took a bit longer to complete as through stupidity I fried a camera and had to wait for a new one to arrive. I will sort out the list of the parts I used. If I had not fried the first camera I would have completed this in under half an hour. In the end actuall build time was still under an hour. Hopefully my pictures work
  14. Ive had a couple of PM's asking for the list of stuff to make the NV. I will complete my build (hopefully tonight and then post all the bits and pieces required to make it. Dont want to tell people to buy the stuff to find it does not work. My build will envolve a bit of soldering but should be very compact and neat.
  15. I agree with this I cut my filter from a sheet with a ND of 962, the only way to tell if the lamp is working is to 'shine' it on your hand to see if you can feel heat. I cannot see any light at all through the filter. At first I thought my lamp was broke untill i felt the heat coming from it.
  16. I found the time to get mine up and running last night, so far it has costr a grand total of £39 including the IR filter for my scope and aprox 15mins of work. I will post some pictures once I have tidied it up. I plan to connect the screen to the camera via a 3.5mm jack leadso it is easy to disconnect and remove. I will use the power connector supplied with the screen to bring the power so i can choose to connect it to my lamp battery or to the trucks cigarette lighter socket. When iot is all finished it will have cost less than £45 and will hopefully have taken less than an hours work.
  17. How about something like this 230774748397 its a bit expensive as my whold setup cost less than £60 but if you are having a bad night you could always watch the telly on it. Im sure there are cheaper options though.
  18. I am in the process of doing this aswell, hopefully my 16mm lens will arrive today so I can use it tonight. You gave me an idea. I had already bought the 2" screen to mount to my scope but I liked the idea of having a screen mounted on the dash so I have also bought the 4.4" screen to attach to the dash and a splitter for the video signal. It all works set up in the house (minus the 16mm lens) so as I am lamping looking at the screen on the scope anyone else in the car can watch the larger screen on the dash.
  19. You have to state the number of each calibre rifle you will need. For example of you want two .22lr you would have to apply for two and show you have good reason to have two, i.e one for day and one with night vision. Edit to avoid spelling nazi.
  20. OK, I know it is illegal to shoot racing pigeons but at what point do the become feral? As part of the agreement to get permission on the 2000 Acre estate I shoot on I have to clear the sheds of pigeons every time I am there as the game keeper has no interest at shooting the sheddy pigeons. Last noght wilst clearing up the shot pigeons I found five (out of nearly 150) of these to be racing pigeons with rings. Is it still illegal to shoot these as they have obviously become ferrel? How do I find to contact the owners of these pigeons to let them at least know where their pigeons dissappeared to. Should I now be wearing my tin hat
  21. Ive been offered a three year old ESS. She is a rescue dog but i dont know much about her yet except that she is good with other dogs. If i take her i would like to train her up to come out shooting with me but she would be my first gun dog. Would it be possible to train a dog of three up. I dont want to take her on to find i cant get her to work. I would have to give her up as i need a reasonable worknig dog and we already have 3 i think four would be the limit for us at home. Any advice?
  22. Agree with above but I would check the x-trail forum. I know for certain the Navara will not run on veg oil but then the x-trail may be completely different.
  23. I got mine here Clicky £93.50 including postage. Amazing ear protection.
