  1. Thanks to all for the info, just ordered these: https://www.radio-solutions.co.uk/motorola-walkie-talkie-h20-t92-twin-pack.html
  2. Does anyone here use walkie talkies when out shooting? I regularly shoot with a mate and we normally end up decoying in two different fields/parts of fields and often thought about getting a set. Can anyone let me have some info/advice on what to be looking for please. And any recommendations too. Ta.
  3. If you've paid cash they know they've got you on the back foot straight away. Dont go and knock on their door unless you're prepared to go a lot further. Fill in this form https://www.gov.uk/make-money-claim send them a screenshot before you make the claim ,informing them that you'll go ahead with the claim immediately if the money's not returned. I've done it a few times, along with a google street view pic of their front door and its always worked for me. I did also think of telling them id publish the claim form on every relevant forum i can but iv'e never needed to. Good luck.
  4. I think whatever was in the ground previously has been well ploughed in by now so ill just keep my eye on it for now. There's a few other fields of wheat/barley stubble that i can concentrate on in the meantime. There's also the chance of some Canada's flighting too so that should keep me busy. Thanks for all the info.
  5. On one of my perms, the farmer has been drilling oil seed rape over the last few days. and will continue until the weekend. I've never shot over newly drilled rape so don't know if pigeons will be on it as soon as the tips are pushing up through the soil (5/6 days)? Or do i wait til Jan /Feb?
  6. Hi all, in my opinion, once the ground gets even slightly bumpy/muddy, pulling is a lot easier than pushing. I bought one of these a few weeks ago and have only used it once but it seems to work perfectly well when i travel light but to be honest its a bit small for when i take a full kit of about 20 deeks in a bag, 2 camo nets ,hide poles, 2 bouncers, whirly & seat box. I have to carry my gun over my shoulder. https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/201672537818 Maybe i should have bought a bigger one in the first place.
  7. I have a boxed ,as new Artemis M16A for sale at £325 ATM as I'm trying to thin my collection out. Less than 50 pellets through it and as accurate& consistent as my Rapid.
  8. I spent ages researching this subject last year before investing in a pair of these. Fantastic boots. Warm, great ankle support, light & comfortable enough to spend a full day in. Well pleased i got them.
  9. July 2000 according to this: https://www.rapid7ownersclub.co.uk/forum/data-files/13160-theoben-seri
  10. As above please, cash waiting. Must be neat & tidy. No monsters.
  11. No, the tripod is 1/4 & the yoke is 3/8 iirc,i had to get a pack of 3 adaptors online.I think they were about 3 quid. https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/380716541010?_trkparms=aid%3D1110018%26algo%3DHOMESPLICE.COMPLI This is the ones, although they're cheaper on Amazon This is the type of tripod, even cheaper now: https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/402730017300?_trkparms=ispr%3D1&hash=item5dc4946214:g:aeYAAOS
  12. I bought a new camera tripod for about 17 quid of Ebay and Primos yoke for a tenner. Use it with .22 air, .22 rimfire & .17 hmr when I'm on the rabbits and I want a low shooting positing behind a sniper/ camo net. Its so much better than using my Primos in a tight space. Lighter & smaller than my Primos sticks. Wouldn't be without it now.
  13. "That's for extending your wifi signal and has nothing to do with the OP's question. " Ah, right. It's a good job you're here then.
  14. I bought one of these last year to get wifi in the shed at the bottom at the garden: https://www.amazon.co.uk/TP-Link-Universal-Extender-Broadband-TL-WA854RE/dp/B07PKX1ZD1/ref=sr_1_6?crid=2U8JA1IZYVUZY&dchild=1&keywords=wifi+booster+range+extend+ Works brilliantly and has never let me down

    22LR Magazine

There's one for sale on the Stalking directory classifieds, if you can get the seller to respond.
  16. As above please, cash waiting.
  17. There's a few vids on Youtube showing how to make some half decent ones yourself.
  18. Ive just been out with my CZ using a camera tripod i bought last year, similar to this : https://www.amazon.co.uk/EVERESTA-flexible-Smartphone-Bluetooth-shutter/dp/B0827B5582/ref=sxin_11?asc_ with a Primos yoke fitted. Its ideal for using in limited space when the Primos sticks are too big.
  19. Sorry, a bit of a mistake there. My 455 Varmint is in .22lr and my Marlin 917 Varmint is in .17hmr. ( its been a bit of a long day for me today and my brain is hurting). But the heavy barrels on both are very helpful to me, especially when shooting from my sticks/ small tripod.
  20. I recently bought a 455 Varmint and the heavier barrel doesnt bother me at all ( i thought it may cause problems as this was my first serious foray into rimfire and ive always had a liking for the smaller more lightweight rifles) in fact i think it aids accuracy when shooting. And as has been said before, they are great fun to shoot. Congratulations on your first squizzer and hopefully many more to come.
  21. Would something like this work? https://www.bearingboys.co.uk/Clevis-Pins-/NBM4-4mm-Steel-Clevis-Pin-91434-p?gclid=EAIaIQobChMI3rPA1bem8AIVkIBQBh2sMg0cEAQYAiABEgJjwPD_BwE
  22. Hi all, I'll be looking for a rotary kit in the next week or so but unfortunately know very little about the different models available. I want the lightest, most compact kit i can get with the best deeks ( i'm guessing that's what we all want). Is there one stand alone product that can fill these requirements or is it a better idea to cherry pick the best bits from different suppliers , if that's possible to do? Can you mix and match kit from 2/3 suppliers ? TIA.
