Hi Mick, It all depends on the size and depth of the water you are fishing. Meps or tobbies will do, myself i prefer tobbies. Either 7g or 10g's. Blue and Silver, Green and Gold would be my preference, for salmon or trout. Stevie

Daz, we had been out since about 9am, done a little scout. We were on our way to join our other two mates Sean and Jonny. How by this time had a few birds down. Then it happened about 1000 birds or so lifted from the depths of a small valley. Lucky enough Col has permission to shoot that location. We quickly turned the car and assended on the lower end of the valley. Then it was all up to col to get the birds for the rotar. I hadn't even got the second bird attached when they just started dropping from the sky. Someone was looking out for us today. Ba
