  1. Thanks for that, obviously didn't put enough on any of my bids then!
  2. How long until you hear if you won an item in the sealed bid? Or do you just not hear anything if you haven't won?
  3. That's just the address of the Browning Arms Company not the country of manufacture. As others said, made by Miroku in Japan.
  4. I'm up near Inverness. What have you got to trade?
  5. Yildiz Pro Grade 4 30" M/C for sale, this is the one with the Boss/Perazzi style action. It's very well balanced with a good solid steel action putting the weight between your hands. Cased with chokes x5, gun socks etc. Ideal roughshooting/game gun, superior steel proof, 3" chambers. Any trial welcome. £795 I can also RFD it no problem.
  6. Replied to your PM, I could deliver to Edinburgh if that helps any.
  7. Yes, not a problem at all. Where about are you? Are you outside reasonable travelling distance?
  8. I'm selling because I need to cash in! I've just finished building a house and had a new baby in the last few months, I would love to keep it but I'm just not getting a chance to use it, and it's too nice to use in the pigeon hide! The gun is faultless and any inspection welcome. I'm up near Inverness. I'm happy to RFD if it helps or happy to travel within reason.
  9. Browning ProTrap Adjustable 32" for sale, it is as new having fired less than 400 cartridges. Gun is absolutely faultless. Comes cased with all accessories - gun socks, spare triggers, coloured sight tubes, barrel and stock weights to adjust balance to suit, recoil pads x 2, chokes x 8, stock key. Any inspection welcome, can be tried out also before sale. Basically a new gun but saving yourself a grand! £2450
  10. It looks like high performance to me. CIP over a Fleur de lis.
  11. Okay, thanks for that. I'll continue to wait!
  12. I put a couple of bids on guns today - never having done so before. Just wondering do they notify you if you haven't won an item? Or do they let you know either way?
  13. 🤣 Sounds very odd. Mine are separate too - strap on either hip and buttons running down the side of the leg.
  14. You mean the two legs are sewn together at the belt loops?
  15. If you have worked up a decent load that shoots accurately and loaded on node you should still have perfectly accurate rounds at 200 yards - 8 thou won't make a huge difference. It all depends on what you are looking to achieve but I would fully expect any of my rifles to still group 5 rounds well inside an inch at 200 yards with that sort of variation in case length. However I wouldn't make a habit of having such a large variation and certainly never over maximum length.
  16. You owe it to yourself to fire one just for the smell! Best smell ever!
  17. I have had several premium makes over the years, Le Chameau, Royal Hunters etc etc, for the last 7 or 8 years I've been using Muckboots specifically the Muckmaster and can't fault them. I buy a new pair every year as they look tired but are still always waterproof. I pretty much live in them. Also I never have cold feet in them!
  18. If you shorten it the pad will then be bigger round the edges than the stock is. Can't remember what the inside of the stock on my 692 was like but I would imagine if shortened the guide holes for the pad would have to be re-inlet into the wood - or cut the guides off the pad. As an aside I had a couple of spare Beretta Microcore pads lying around and decided to try fitting a pad to an old gun (not Beretta) myself last week - I wasn't sure how they would grind but they grind very well. Was able to get a good smooth finish on it.
  19. I've had my Peltor Tactical XP's for 7-8 years - worn in many a downpour, most recently on Saturday and yet to have an issue.
  20. Will do. Should be here Tue/Wed next week hopefully.
