Well done Simon only have a couple of magpies on the farm I pest control at and I can’t get close enough with my sub 12 .22 but have got a few that came near the carcass below with my scatter pipe .

the farmer had witnessed two seeing this lamb off that was then used to bring them back in !

you have to admire how clever they are

Well done Simon, 👍 what is that  fitted on the scope ?

Cheers pal its my Tactacam 5.0 which i usually film through the scope with i was just trying on top of the scope to see what the footage was like, i also film with it on the shot gun to with the pigeon footage

really enjoyed that............those mags are not easy to cut out ....they never stop moving......

    look forward to part 2...

Ye thanks Ditch i got the HW 77 all set up today ready, i ended up putting the C50 on at the end as the Tactacam didn't really film to clear just on top of the scope.

    Excellent stuff. Cracking video.

If I use a caller to bring a fox I will turn it off before target gets close to the caller. They have almost a sound memory radar and will work their way to the sound much slower. I struggle to get on the plastic bales around here as they are usualy half inch deep in guano. 🤣

I use a 10 x drone with a tiny led ir on it. It's good for 500+m on a dry night. Easy one of the very best nv systems. On a bright night it will work well without ir.

Ye your right pal they have to be the best out there still as yet with out a doubt and the foxes on the night either behave or don't lol.

C50 scope superb.....(from the watchers point of view)

quite honestly not overly impressed with the thermal.....it is interesting......on one shot the pellet went thro' the rat and hit the steel bottom runner of the gate,,,,,,the heat generated on impact (a mear nano sec) was picked up by the thermal..............also couple of shots when they were breifly bleedin out was picked up like an RNLI distress flare

proberly much better for the user ...rather than the watcher ...what do you rekon.....?......

really surprised you went old school on the HW77.............it really does the job tho' :good:

great little film again...thats a nice soft rug for jack...nice and soft for his elbows

Ye i agree with you Ditch to be honest, i would much sooner use NV with out a doubt i just tried it for a change if i be honest and ye the HW 77 just rocks, i couldn't believe how much i enjoy using it as i can't seem to remember springers being that accurate back in the 90's lol.
