I would do a couple of days to get a bond with your grandkids but not the full week that's to much. As a couple on here have already said, when we had our second kid, we decided there was no point the mrs going back to work, what she would earn, and the cost of childcare we would not be to much worse off, we can live happy on my wage, and she gets quality time with kids. Grand parents are great and would help, but I wouldn't want to put it on them. I wouldn't charge to look after them, but I would ask them to cover petrol due to the distance involved.

Just put it all down, you will never get a telling off for putting them. They know anyway. My last renewal I put 7-20 years ago and listed sp30x2 etc and I had one of them silly driving course things instead of points, put that to. Just said thanks when I pointed it out. Got rid of ours last year. Rang virgin to cancel it all and they gave me the broadband without phone line for cheaper. Think a lot are doing this now since vodaphone released no phone line broadband. Me and wife both have mobiles with unlimited calls and texts. So no point.

Why did you leave mate? Sounds like they were being funny with you all the car checks etc. If you showed them your ticket, permission slip, and were on private land, you should have told them to get lost. I'm all for cooperating with the police, and all my experiences have been good once they know your licensed, but if they start getting funny, or ask to stop doing something you are legally entitled to do they are over stepping the mark. If you don't want the agro it should have at least been followed up by a complaint so there inspector can re educate them not to discriminate against shooters.

Dont know how u guys managed it for 75 quid! That's rubbish, if something else comes to light they can re visit. If you discover after items missing they can go back. He was in your van, got caught with boots. I'd make a complaint.
