  1. If you are lucky enough to shoot a few whilst out roosting, open up their crops & there is the proof that the February roost shoot is an essential part of pigeon control. Enjoy the Roost shooting & remember to shoot grey squirrels whenever you can. Be safe & leave only feathers & footprints wherever you go👍
  2. Thought you already had one but newer than that Are you down grading?
  3. Always found your presence imparted some sort of pressure & doddlers become so easy to miss!😆 That was one of my excuses anyway!
  4. Nothing worse than having JDog watch you shoot🫣
  5. 2 happy shooters & a happy farmer no doubt! Well done
  6. Well shot J. Makes me smile to read your posts. Fond memories 👍
  7. Nice to see you're still amongst them Dave. Well shot👍
  8. Well done J, they certainly love the Barley👍
  9. To be fair Daz, pulling birds off a line with the rotary is far more rewarding than shooting a big bag over decoys in my eyes. Wilksy & myself had the pleasure of the same last Sunday on a return line. Like a busy game drive for a while only better!
  10. Well done J, Nice to know you are still finding those lines.
  11. Back in the land of milk & honey clearly! You would struggle to shoot 40 on rape over here at the minute! Well done
  12. A few starting show interest here in East yorkshire but in the main they are still on berries etc. Usually Xmas onwards here
  13. Sorry that I couldn't make to the pub but pleased I got to see you the previous week. I will cherish the memories of the good times we shot pigeons together. We have witnessed some great things & shot good bags together ( not to mention the odd eye wipe)😛 I wish you well in life & no doubt you will hit the ground running regards pigeons on some of your old ground! I hope we will shoot pigeons together again some day. Keep in touch JDog Atb aga man
  14. So that burner would indicate it is not a condensing model. If it is a single oil pipe system (no tigerloop) then, To my mind, if you can confirm good flow of oil & no water in oil then the oil pump is at fault, or at least the solenoid stem. For what they cost I would just replace the pump (which comes with new solenoid)& set pump pressure accordingly. Flue gas analyser would be good thereafter. Appreciate you have already thrown money at it but wrongly advised by the sound of it.
  15. I work with oil boilers, what problems are you having? Pm me if you prefer
  16. Beef dripping, par boiled first, then Lightly seasoned . Naught but very nice!
  17. Sounds fantastic J, I was in a wood Friday afternoon during the storm. Crazy some some say but the pigeons were the most challenging I have shot in some time. (All stuffed full of rape) Roost shooting in a good wind certainly takes some beating👍
