  1. They are a true inspiration , reaching the World Cup Final is phenomenal but playing with the flare , passion and 'never say die' mentality does tend to make their male counterparts look somewhat pathetic. We should be so proud of them. I'm NOT a football fan , and support no team , but have not missed a single Lionesses match. GO GIRLS, GO 😀
  2. What about Jack Hargreaves, and' Out of Town'?
  3. Memories , of travelling from nannie's house in Southampton, to out house in Leigh Park Havant, listening in the back of my dads Vauxhall Victor. My brother and i used to count the German boats and small ships that were beached to be scrapped on the mudflats near Gosport. Every week there were one or two less. The Cliff Mitchelmore singers , i think ? OMG , just thought of 'Listen with Mother' ,and Four Feather falls.
  4. Its the grease they use at the factory apparently . It thickens up causing problems . My 110 suffered from this , but once ]warmed] up in ambient temp , it was back up to 11ft/lbs.
  5. Degreased threads , and spring washers compressed , should do the job . without the thread lock. If they start to unwind , use just a touch . Good luck.
  6. 1 last Saturday with the BSA Scorpion. 2 today with the Reximex Myth. 2089
  7. Hi Lads , thanks for the kind words and reassurance . It means a great deal. I cant tell you how I long to go for a walk around my perms with my dog and pump action .
  8. Over the last few years , I have found it harder and harder to bend my legs and walk , other than like a Thundebirds puppet, because of something called Spinal Stenosis. So on August the 8th after much messing me about with cancelled appointment's and physio , I am due to have a 'spinal decompression' surgery at the Walton Centre Liverpool. To say I am not confident in the NHS , would be an understatement, but the Private route would have cost me 16, 000 plus. Has any one reading this any experience of having this op , The Walton centre etc? Please advise . I am hoping that if all goes well , I can get back out there with the guns , and the dogs. Or i would settle for just being able to walk normally.
  9. Two kits on the bird feeder . 1848 One pictured , the dog buried the other🙄
  10. Ohh heck , i'm going to have to buy a shorter nail file . 🤪 Can you field dress a rabbit with a spoon????
  11. Yep, Barnet Wildcat . Usually 90lb prod {limb].
  12. Fox den I would say , simply by the shape , taller and thinner {Rugby ball on end} than a badger sett{rugby ball lying down} . Dictated by the shape of the animal.. And as stated , there would be a badger bog nearby if it was brock.
  13. Its too late chaps , the oil is spreading on the water, the European lifeboat is overwhelmed and sinking. And there is absolutely nothing you or I can do about it.
  14. Well done, on getting a 95, I have two , one .in .177 Sandwell Field Sports tuned. Consistently shooting at 11.5ft/lbs . The other is my .22 fitted with a V-Mach kit , this is smooth as a 'cashmere codpiece ', shooting at 11.2 ft/lbs. My .22 80k , is brilliant and i would never part with it , but its too heavy for me to lug around in the field, at my advanced years. Guns for life, enjoy yours, hang on to it .
  15. Hi , normally under “Other pest control” . Or, pick the section depending on what your quarry has been . ie Rabbits , Corvids , Squirrels etc .
  16. I can certainly back that statement about Badgers. There are loads of them on my perm. and I have actually seen them dragging a lamb carcass around. But dont tell Mr Packham, it might upset him.
  17. pm sent. I will take this please. Your gauge post on the rear of your cylinder will be too long , for an se tactical stock. My Scorpion with a tactical stock, gauge post will be too short. Exchange? I also have a standard Scorpion airtube , which would give you more shots , and can be used with a slim (HW Type moderator). N.
  18. I think that one on the left has expanded👍 So did the squirrel!😂
  19. Before and after .177 Hedes . Recovered from squirrel. Sub 12 ftlbs at 30 yards .
  20. 1 more today , another juvenile .1172 .177 Hades , sub 12ft/lbs recovered from squirrel , side by side with a unused one . You decide , if its done its designed remit.
