  1. You doing the lottery this week as well?
  2. Nice ou for that price is easy to find with a single trigger, easy to clean and easy to use. Too many to list but I'm sure you will get something that fits
  3. Brasso do a metal polish, takes seconds, my lanber is the same this time of year. Toothbrush to get the awkward bit, keep away from blueing but never had an issue myself.
  4. Never had an issue even without a net and just standing still, seem to remember shape shine shadow silloett follwoed by movement and noise was drummed into me. Dpm has some material that disrupts ir as well but as I'm not hunting men or being hunted by one I wont Worry. Interesting all the same especially as the yanks wear day glow red shirts and hats and still hunt perfectly ok, having worn normaly washed clothing as well every other person on here and still stalked rabbits, crowd, pigeons and a few other things its. A marketing ploy if ever I saw one.
  5. Had a really good day on a field when similar happened to me, give it a go
  6. That's exactly what I posted, in certain circumstances. As they are designated the chief officer can confer powers to them as he likes.
  7. Read the up dated pace guidance and not the news papers, u will see that in certain circumstances they have the power of warrantedbconstables.
  8. We sold all the harriers to the yanks for spares. There are no tornados out there. The typhoon is not there either. Just c130's and a few attack choppers. Maybe the odd troop transport and a few drones as well.we rely heavily, almost exclusively on the yanks My facts are right. Edited for the auto correct.
  9. Cyc and 1/4 for me tends to do the job everytime. Should I push the range or change the species I can change it but never found it makes much difference.
  10. Cat or dog food, make some holes in thr tin and pop it out there, they can't carry it away and take their time trying to get their ratty teeth into it. They can smell it from quite a distance as well.
  11. If not a pattern plate then A big cardboard box does the job. My lanber was very flat when I tested it. My trusty old biakial used to throw it a bit high.
  12. Would never expect to use someone else's ammo especially if they laid on the shooting already. Madness
  13. 2 lumps of cement dropped on sea. Not too far from a massive reef. That's what it should read, better than 2 harriers full of nasty non inert chemicals and metal crash into sea and the death of two elite pilot's. Before we knock them remember they are the ones saving our soldiers lives daily in afghan whilst we don't have an air force out there.
  14. I normally walk between the hedge and where the rabbits are and keep is slow and steady, as above aim for the feet. Failing that hide in the hedge and used an air rifle, perfect for rabbit'ss. Anyone u know with ferrets? Great fun bolting rabbits. Not the hardest thing to hunt but wouldn't say the easiest either. To really clear them out someone with ferrets in the winter is your best bet
  15. If the cars taxed and insured it won't happen. My experience is not taxed and insured there are normally other offences as well and that puts my insurance up.
  16. I've heard they shoot low. Test point of impact to where u are aiming and see. Might need a cheek piece to alter your aim.
  17. A considerably larger amount of people get killed by cars, maybe we should ban those as well not to mention the birds hit by cars or deer cats dogs etc etc. Ban them all, strict licencing so no criminals can use them, conditions on the usage, closed licence ie only allowed out on Sundays with a vicar as a passanger. Or have a dose of reality and realise that 800 incidents out of millions of air weapons is statisticly nothing.
  18. If that was the case nothing would ever be invented these days
  19. Never liked the local papers in skeggy used Google, easier and free.
  20. I think saddler is quite right on that one. Either way the rfd is talking catpt and you don't need an fax for 00 buck.
  21. Pigeons and cheery, lovely. Sounds like a job for an air rifle.
  22. Many many moons ago I was shooting when a copper made an appearance, expecting to hear of some noise complaint or asking to see my licence etc, however he had a brief chat then pointed out a farmer he knew had a problem with rabbits and was home, it might be worth my while popping over and introducing myself Not all want to seize you gun and revoke your licence and a friendly chat can go a long way in many walks of life
  23. Yrs, feo can remove them, civi or not, they are designated persons under pace and have similar powers, in fact the same powers as police when on duty and carrying out their job. Like traffic wardens and uniformed police beingthe oonly people to be able to stop a moving car under the road traffic act, now pcso's can as they are designated and carry the same power. Confusing in some ways but mindlessly simple in others.
