  1. I'm still not convinced he was bumped off. Either way one of the ladies subjected to his activities indeed says she has a number of copies in various drawers scattered about the globe should anything happen to her. It's a matter of time. Ditchy will be firing up 50 inch tv and surround sound to get the full effect in no time.
  2. Wait for the leaked videos to come out. Only a matter of time.
  3. Mine are currently from procook, excellent steel and reasonable price, maintains a good edge for a fair while and sharpens easily. Nice to use. I do have a sabatier boning knife that's very good and a cheap and cheerful plastic filet knife for Pigeons. None go in the dishwasher and I have removed my wife's chopping blocks as she likes to ruin the edge as soon as they are sharpened, I think she'd rub them on a brick if she had the chance.
  4. Seems to be, charged with intent to endanger and also the ammo, neither are available if not real.
  5. There's many a YouTube video and a few channels dedicated to them. I appreciate a good kitchen knife and have a fair selection sadly not of the Japanese style, depends on how much you want to pay really and what it will be used for.
  6. This. Find something proofed for steel shot and 3in Chambers. You then know for a fact it can take anything commercially on sale in that cartridge size and I'm pretty sure lots of geese have been dropped with steel from similar. Multi choke preferably, any style you like from sbs/ou/semi/pump/single shot as long as it fits. Buyers market at present.
  7. I always stick them on top of the stew, soaks up some more flavour. Occasionally I cover the whole of the stew and leave the lid off so it's goes hard like a pie crust. Lovely.
  8. My garden has loads of mushrooms of all sorts growing from about August onwards. Other than the ink cap I have no idea what any of then are and they could easily be 1 of about 90 different types. Instead they make interesting plinking targets and my kids like to stamp on them. If they don't come in a packet from tesco they don't get eaten when it comes to mushrooms.
  9. To save you time - there is no defence of entrapment in the uk but the evidence won't be heard if unfair so there won't be a trial. It has to be "laid on" so to speak. If I used a man at a bus stop as a metaphor then in the uk there has to be an actual bus (criminal act) for him to get on in the first place. In the states they will build the bus, the road and populate the stop with others to make it attractive.
  10. R v loosely 2001, s78 pace and r v sang 1980 are relevant.
  11. Ground chalk and 3 in 1 oil mixed into a paste and Lightly rubbed did the trick for me a few times. Very fine wire wool or a penny as above also work.
  12. Always wanted one to be honest, just for the plinking with a shotgun in my garden. The odd rat would appreciate the tickle I'm sure.
  13. It don't matter much if new or second hand, get what you fancy within your budget as long as it fits. If it don't fit you'll waste not only the money but also the time using it and it will lead to frustration. The shops are rammed with choice at the minute. If it were me chosing id looking at the second hand market first as you'd have more options.
  14. Long before I was born my dad took my mum Sea fishing. It was a nice day apparently and he was bored in the house. He showed her what to do a few times and then let her have a go. On the first or second cast she hooked and then landed a 10lb bass. Somewhere in an album there's a picture of her posing beside it with a huge grin on her face. my older brother recounts the story better than me and if I remember dad tried in vane for a few hours to hook a fish, any fish, without success. Therin lies my knowledge of bass fishing from the shore. On a boat over a wreck then any lure will do I've found.
  15. I've seen it listed on here somewhere. I'm no good at finding old posts but it helped me age mine, tried Google?
  16. 100% bargin. I have the very same sat in my safe, its done 100000s of rounds without issue.
  17. This. I bought an al390 3in chamber a number of years ago. I didn't and still don't plan on using steel or 3in loads but I asked the question "can I fire hp 3 inch steel thru this". The reply was "all day long". He went on for some time about it but to summarise the yanks have been firing exactly that thru the same guns made in the same place, in America for years with no issue. Saami and cip differ somewhat but I can't believe a mass produced (civilian) firearm is built differently to cater for those differences. Edited to add he was an gun actual smith and not a retailer.
  18. Newspapers state lots of things to sell copy. Some true, some less so. pigeon watch is littered with examples of poor reporting from the press. From the limited material I'd suggest the police would have to refer it to the cps. Dangerous, death by dangerous is not summary only. Careless is a rather trivial matter in comparison. If police charged careless and it was clearly not the the indictment would change in court and the cps would create merry hell over it.
  19. To an extent. Attorney General guidelines (misnamed as they are not guidelines in any way) that came in Dec 2021 dictate to a very large extent the investigation. Add other relevant acts to this, cpia, pace etc etc, If all viable lines of enquiry aren't followed the cps will reject it and request the rest is done. This can become tedious and sometimes results in a very simple anticipated guilty plea taking too long to charge. Should a victim disagree they can appeal, so should the police say we didn't send to the cps as the offence want made out this will be referred to a senior officer, if again rejected a judicial review can take place, add the ippc and local mp to this and matters get throughly reviewed many times. If the cps don't charge a similar process exists. The police often get the blame for someone else not charging. Often the police are just as frustrated. Unless summary only or if triable either way then with overwhelming evidence, the cps must decide.in their defence and along with a lot of public services they have been cut back and the result are predictable.
  20. They come up every which way from Sunday, got a few hybrids last year that were really interesting.
  21. It's probably nothing more than a seal, they go over time. I've never stripped one either and sent my bsa a couple of years back for a service, didn't cost a lot and came back working like news week later.
  22. Mostly it's because they'd have to supply the carts after about 25......... Nice outing.
  23. Google it, sometimes you can get snake meat, doubt it will be a rattler but most probably python.
