shot this one in yorks,the guys had a good bag on it on sat,so arrived on tues an not a bird in sight set by 11 15,couldn,t errect pop up hide cos of gale force winds so had to settle for sittin on the grass under a ash tree,no nets even,anyway one or two started to appear from nowhere,an finished with 21 woodies 2 crows 1 jackdaw,which i thought was pretty good shooting from that position,and i couldn,t get up to take a shot cos i had my left leg amputated 42 years ago.

set up at 9 30 ended at 13 30,had 15 shots,got 9 birds usein my 20g.just had 8 shells out on drilled wheat,100s passed over head though.that was Saturday.

i went out yesterday dog training took my 28g out for the 2nd time,only fired 1 shot with it months ago,had 4 shots over decoys witth it and got 2 of em, i use different guns to the same effect,i just like a change now and again,hence me haveing a300,medalist 20g,my revo 28g an a lanber 12g,i like em all.perhaps i,m just lucky i get on with all of em.just keep at it.

have a look at fieldsports.tv theres one episode that shows regular roy lupton at his own place,they have the doves and when they get too many around he culls them with air rifle and he deliberatly keeps them,monks kept them in dovecots for food.

what about beaters on jobseekers allowance an not declaring it,they will all dissapear for fear of being caught out by the dwp.

i have an outlander,an my mate a unico,ive used both in the hide and apart from the unico being a bit heavier they shoot the same to me,xtra chokes i got for £20 each.but theres a big price difference in the a300 and a400.havent tried any other sa.

windmills are a total waste u cant run when theres no wind,u cant run when its too strong they produce minimal amount of power,coal could kep industry going and provide jobs,daw mill has or is closeing as well.i.m with the op on this one.
