Evening all,today myself & the good lady had a skeet lesson with Mr Beardsmore at Doveridge and can whole heartedly say it was worth every penny !! Im looking forward to another hour or so & will then make a once a month appointment,in my humble opinion this coaching will save money on wasted clays-cartridges and will increase our enjoyment in this great sport,big thumbs up

Yep Indeedey but all hollow blocks have 2 sides & front & back,also solid casts between each hole,all im trying to say is he can use the solid parts eg. e either side of the vertical compo joint..Not more than 10mm in from the blocks edge... Hes lucky as its a loft install & the blocks & joints will be visible,so a few test holes can be done first,many a time we used to leave this measurement to help plumbers for solid boiler fixings,im hoping this helps everyone as fixing to this type of block has allways been a pain

Ah rito,but how can a block be completely hollow,if they are then iv been building houses with fresh air for 30 years

Measure 10mm in from the edge of the block,you will have a solid fixing here,thats at least 3 sorted... The remainding holes, you can use brolly-butterfly-resin fixings.Remember,dont over tighten or the blocks will split anyway.

Same advice as above bud, i use the (now oily) rag that the barrels stand on to wipe them down after iv had me sweaty mitts on them

My lass uses a 15yr old 12g silver pigeon,older models are better built and have female friendly stock dimentions !!!! She uses 21gram shells,prefering exspress hv as they dont kick at all,she has tried semi autos but keeps going back to the beratta mate,hope this helps...

Im not going to pick on any age groups,but unfortunately i can assure you that on certain time & days of the week i have to deal with issues relating to the original post,its becoming a bloody nightmare to be honest... I hope that when my driving-riding time is up,il deal with it before things get out of hand.....

Ayup,Now then,after yesterdays visit from the FAO,my sgc has been granted & i should receive it shortly !!! Iv got a new mk38 lined up already but im also wanting any old 12g sxs with 26"-28" 1/4 & 1/2 tubes costing upto £200..... Which guns would you be looking at,thats within my paultry(remainding)budget ? Thanks for any help :good:
