  1. ehb 102 said ; If anyone has mental trigger flinch and wants to have a shot at getting rid of it rekon I can help : she or he also said ; The methods I have in my tool box treat every single case individually and find every single cause.; So, what you do when the trigger freeze is not mental but belongs to other category of causes that I know, I know 4-5 of them?? I can list at least 45-50 causes of trigger freeze, followed by flinching ,other than mental one , that belongs to those 4-5 categories? What is your expertise to separate the mental trigger freeze from the others? Thanks !
  2. There are many reasons to miss a target and the help over the internet many times won,t work. However,from what you say I understand that your vision, in waiting position, is close to the barrel and the bird beats you all the timp . There is a logic to that situation, having a narrow visual screen around the barrel, you see the bird late. Your reaction time from the moment of the bird interception is not fast enough to catch the bird from behind. Considering that your gun holding point is correct, move your eyes on the left of the barrel to see the bird early enough to react properly. Keep the barrel in the peripheral vision and when you notice that the bird is close to the barrel match your gun speed with the bird. Never let the bird to beat your barrel, (especially from the high house). Good luck!
  3. Lets just put sporting clays in Olympics ;and he will have a broader recognition.;
  4. If you you are visualy clean, both eyes is the ticket! If not, sorry!

  9. ehb 102 I got it you are dealing with trauma but no the cause of it! How you can fix a trauma if you don,t know the cause of it?? How I understand is , if you have fever take an Aspirin, but you don,t cure the cause of the fever! Am I wrong??
  10. The studies of flinching for other shooting disciplines are intereting and helpfull to understand the process, I am looking SPECIFICALLY for flinching studies regarding the shotgun disciplines. The still and moving targets make the difference on why and how flinching occurs during the shooting action. Thank you, keep them coming!
  11. you guys, do you know any studies regarding shotgun trigger freeze?? If yes, can you mentioned them?? I repeat, only SHOTGUN related trigger freeze, flinching?? Thanks!
  12. As I know, ;Flinching;is the result of a trigger freeze. If you can,t pull the trigger you will flinch, jerk, throw the gun. etc. Now, the causes of trigger fresze are several, I suppose, so the trigger freeze, caused by mental factors have some specifics to be sorted out. What are the causes of mental trigger freeze and how you diagnose them other than speculating and eliminating other factors??? As I understand you are an expert, so I would like to learn!
  13. ehb you said ;When all other options have failed; what kind of options are you refer to and who is solving them before you conclude that is a mental flinching? When you say mental you refer to brain memory or some psyhological problem??
  14. ehb, what causes the mental trigger flinch and how you are sure that is... mental and not from other aspects involved in the shooting process. In other words, how do you diagnose a mental flinch ??
  15. How you define flinching and what are the causes of it?
