Because of the manner the air is delivered , the report from a un modded pcp is much greater than it is from a springer even thou they both producing the same fps

The more you get out and do it the more you'll learn , especially by mistakes Try and get chatting with some of the experienced people of this forum , Iv been lucky enough to have been invited over to others perms and for me this is the best way to learn by watching others and see how they go about it

My opinion no not really some think it does , there's more sound coming from the action than from the barrel , it does help as a cocking aid and could help reduce muzzle flip slightly , On a pcp they make a huge difference

£120 is nothing to what some customs can cost , it's a case of whatever floats your boat I guess , me personally I love sharps have a smallish collection which are all users and have to admit to spended double that amount on a knife , it could be said the same about shotguns really , they all go bang some just posher than others Cheers -
Hi Nick if it's dieseling I'd get it stripped and cleaned an re lubed ,dieseling can damage the piston washer an spring the hws ain't to bad to sort but be careful when opening it up best done with a spring compressor I'd recommend Rancidtom from the bsaog if you want it properly sorted or get a kit from Steve pope , Iv got a old hw80 from the eightys it's awesome rifle, it's been tuned by rancid and re blued by colin at Manchester air guns really done a spot on job Also has a cs800 stock which is sweet
