  1. I am sorry Steve. I misread your earlier reply. Hope your event goes well this weekend.
  2. I have never heard of a stronger mix of clay targets for commercial grounds before. I thought all clay targets (fragments) were now designed to break down in time as per EEC rules Sounds like CPC are trying to get themselves out of a hole! Not for the first time...
  3. Barrow Heath Suffolk is shooting a 100 ESP event this Sunday the 9th September. It is worth noting that their COLTS campaign continues where these up and coming youngsters can again shoot their practice round for free. That makes a day out with your son/daughter that bit more affordable. One youngster who benefits from this free shooting is George Townsend (Norfolk) who took 2nd in the Les King Memorial there last week and followed it up with a 2nd in Colts at the British Open a week later as well as being placed in C Class at Fauxdegla. Practice DOES make perfect. It is a good place to gain experience.
  4. Sunday 26th August is the 100 Registered Sporting Les King Memorial shoot at Barrow Heath SC in Suffolk (12 stands). This is the 14th running of this popular event and this year Colts under 16 can practice for free. Entries run from 9am to 3pm and it is NOT SQUADDED. The £200 High Gun will undoubtedly pull in the top shots but there are other cash class prizes in AA, A, B, C, Veterans, Juniors, Ladies, Colts competition and of course Colts practice free. PULL! magazine has full details of this popular event.
  5. Sunday 29th July. Barrow Heath (Suffolk). 100 ESP Registered and Colts (U16) shoot free again. I'll be there with my youngster. Great to spend time with him on a shooting ground. I am told that there will be some testers and some teasers. Food always good though. Hope other Colts take up this challenge. My son improved his last score and received 50 cartridges as a "well done" prize. Let Mike know, he is always interested in how the young guns cope.
  6. I had warrior L200 2.8 Imported. I got the insurance with Autonet Insurance (brokers), 0800 3777266, this one was dificult as it is an import. Reasonable premiums too. You might try NFU on 01284 701144 - Alex is his name. Price about right for age and model. Mine was written off so had to replace. You must do an HPI check.
  7. Hello Sussexboy. Sorry thought my topic was deleted. I have been shown where to continue. Yes my 4x4 light does flash. I took your advice and shifted gears to 4h then 2wd, ABS light does go out. Any advice on flashing 4x4 light?
  8. I posted a topic on a fault in my vehicle. Got one helpful reply. When I attempted to reply to that it appears somehow the fault topic was deleted. Why!
  9. Hey Ace. The tyre pressure must have been the reason then why I went **** over tip on my one sojurn onto a woodland trail...too bloody soft...
  10. I have a fault with my Mitsubishi Shogun Sport where the ABS warning light occasionally comes on after a short journey and a bit of breaking. The only way to get it off is switch off the ignition and re start the car. A diagnostic check cannot locate the fault. I just want to avoid a hefty bill whereby the garage tries to locate a fault.
  11. I would say that this would not constitute coaching. If the second shooter was in the safety cage and was given the "lead" information then, that would be considered as against the CPSA rules. Seeing both were out of the cage then that is perfectly acceptable.
