  3. you have to remember the golden rule to baiting rats "they hate change" and until they get used to something they see it as a threat (unless they are starving and have no food source of course) they are very aware of there surroundings so you will have to be patient and bait them in the same place everyday until you notice the food to go missing, then you will know its time to start hunting them. this also applied to hunting techniques if you intend on hunting them with as lamp then pitch a filtered lamp (set low not on bright) in the area of the bait so they dont dissapear at the first sign of light when you come to shoot them. a lot of work i know but the results you will see will be worth it HTH Craig
  4. ive allways gone for 177 for rabbits, the only time ive ever really had a issue with 177 on rabbits is when the quarry have been generally closer the 20yards which is fairly rare for rabbits anyway! as the "THUMPING" force from a greater distance is lost and the 177 pellets becomes a straight in straight out ammo which sometimes allows the rabbits nerves to continue long enough to get back to there holes before relizing there already dead
  5. ill second that that A&M have released the marksman silencer recently and all i can say is wow , you literally only here the hammer action, + designed for both FAC and sub 12ft at a cracking £55 (£60 posted), only ever heard one silencer more quiet than this and that was a nutshot which are like hens teeth to get hold of craig
  6. dont know if this will be any help but ive often found if your going to try decoying crows, ive found pigeon decoys bring in the crows quicker probably to there nature of bullying the pigeons out of a easy meal and showing territorial presence. like i said might work for you , def worth a try as it has worked for me many times in the past HTH Craig
  7. LOL cant believe ive never seen this before , Brilliant
