  5. Hi Ian im doing something similar but with out the laser (for now might add a green one later) so maybe we can help each other out. Ive looked @ a few sites & i think ive found one or two lights that fit the bill. www.fenixtorch.co.uk Their a good site that deal with the fenix brand of led torch (most have variable power options built in) they also stock chargers & rechargeable batterys for their range of torches and i also got my Maxpedition edc bag (or my man bag as my mrs calls it) from them. www.shop4torches.co.uk These guys do a wide range of torches including the surefire range some can be expensive but are extremely well built & used by the us Police & armed forces & hollywood films etc. I can recomend the Surefire G2 nitrilon torch its cheap & made from tough plastic runs @ 65 lumins for the xenon version & will run for 60 mins on two cr123a batterys. It has a twist on off tail cap with momentary on off switch in the end. The led bulb variant produces 80 lumins of white light & will run for 11 hrs with 3hrs of full light which starts 2 dim after that. The sure fire 6p is the same as the g2 but its made out of aluminum & has a pyrex lens. U can get fliters 4 them red & blue but the official surefire ones can be expensive but any filter that will fit a 1.25 (i think thats the diameter) torch will fit it. Sorry if this is a bit long winded. Rich
  6. Oki-doki thanks anyway. Im looking @ either a surefire g2 with led bulb or maybe 1 of the pentagon range. Does any one have any experance with the bigger pentagon range i have a pentagon molle light in my edc bag and its a wicked bit of kit. Sigh just read on the net that pentagonlights got shut down by surefire over a patent infringment so can any one suggest an alternative make because the sure fire route might go expensive.
  7. Check out this months shooting sports their is an article on the .177 over the .22. For the record if i could get my paws on a decently priced .20 pcp id take that over both but thats just me.
  8. Hi amateur do u have any idea as 2 what the output of it is in lumens?. Thanks 4 that Nige. Cable ties sapper i want to be able to get the torch back Off again lol.
  9. Air arms s200 series their a cheap but very good pcp will leave enough cash 2 get him a good scope or a cheap one & possibley a pump 2 charge it with.
  10. Thanks for that Nick. I must say its different.
  11. Hi im thinking of using a torch/flashlight (depending on what you want to call them) instead of a conventional lamp because of all the cables added weight of battery pack etc.. This will be for rating & short 2 medium range bunny shooting at night. Does any one have any ideas on how i should mount the torch/flashlight & also what type of lumen level i should be looking at using & finaly if i should use an led or xenon light source. Also if u have any suggestions on a make that would be great. Cheers! :-)
  12. Try a company called pellpax they do a sort of cross section of pellets in a test pack. This will be probably be cheaper on u than having 2 buy 5+ different tins of pellets for loads of cash, when u can Spend less cash on (I think its 20 pellet makes could be less) on a cross section of pellets. I think its about 10 pellets per pack of each make enough 2 make a decent test group. which should be more than plenty to find out which brands & weight ur rifle likes.
  13. Hi u could just save ur pennies up. Use ur springer for now as its more than suited for the job of plinking/hunting. Get some cash together & get ur self a nice little pcp then decide what role u want it to play. Do u want it soley for the lamping role or do u want it for other hunting orientated roles. Then think what caliber is it going 2 be what scope u going 2 mount etc. Both springers & pcps Have their place & uses u just have 2 decide what. I cut my teeth on springers for hunting & target shooting then i moved on to pcps if i had my way id have both. How's that for being impartial?.
  14. Hi from what i have read the scorpion t10 is an excellent rifle. I have handled one but have not actualy shot one. The stock being synthetic offers comfort as well as reduced weight over more traditional weighty woods/lamenate stocks. (Im actualy considering buying a t10 my self.) The hw silencer is good noise reduction is so good that when using hw 100 rifle on which this silencer is mounted as standard i used 2 have 2 double check that id fired the rifle when target shooting. The only thing that i found as a handleing problem was the location of the safety catch it seemed to me a little 2 close 2 the bolt.

    Armoury

*** how the hell did he mannage to get all that ammo in the first place? if he got most of that through that lot through mail order before he got caught you have to ask yourself who else is doing the same thing! And how did he get an export permit from the yanks?
  16. Thanks to all of you! No i havent been doing porridge & i dont think that the church etc. would take a sinner like my self to be a missonary. Truth be told I moved from Lowestoft back to Broseley in the midlands the only way that i could access the net their was through the local libary that only had a few pc's, only problem their was that you had to book in advane & it was just to much hassel for only 30 mins. then due to bad luck my partners mother broke her leg in such a way that it had to be amputated after she contracted an "unidentified virus" & her father was diagnosed with terminall cancer. After her fathers death my partner & I moved to north wales after I spent two years of going backwards & forwards to north wales I decided to move up because i just was not getting to see my daughter or her mom so much! So with a bit of luck i found the local libary here & its a lot eaiser to acces the net & say hello to you all!
  17. Cute very cute i will take two lol! :(

    FILM ON BBC1

Its an ok film but not very accurate in most counts especially since all the snipers were always going for head shots with scopes that had no more than 4-6x mag for the germans & 1.5-3 x mag on targets of ranges of over a hundred yards. & it turns out that Zaitsev never shot as many Krauts as he claimed & there are four seperate different accounts on how Koneig got killed by Zaitsev so it is now believed that the imfamous duel between them never took place it was purerly propaganda for moral purposes. Otherwise its an ok film with Rachel Weiez is **** in it
  20. no i dont think the air arms s200 can be taken above its factory preset
  21. hi cosha where did you get your little head lamp from & how much did it cost cos it looks like a handy little bit of kit!
  22. Roblade from what i remember tasco & hawk are the same company just that hawke is the budget name for tasco. The last scope i brought was a 3-12*44 ir scope it cost me 60 notes weird thing was their was no make on the scope so i asume it was a foreign make of some kind it was good as long as I wasnt using a red filter on any lamps otherwise i had problems seeing the cross hair. i dont know if the same problem will occure with the hawke night eye.
  23. my other half is welsh & i get the usual leg pulling at being english when i go round to her mothers after this im never going to get any peace about wales beating england.
